please help this newbie

I have a PC line tournament joypad. It's cheap but has 8 mappable buttons. Similar to the original playstation controls.

My problem is this. Skill Button. How the #%$k do I program my pad to be able to use it

Judging by the forum I'm not the only one so I'm sorry to bring this up again but I have read and searched the forum and found nothing specific to me.

Any help is much appreciated as I'm getting annoyed with just running, passing shooting.

also, freekicks. How do I put swereve on the ball with the controller?

Does it have two analogue sticks?

No. It has the conventional 8 - way direction pad 4 buttons on the right ( what would be triangle, circle, square, and x on the playstation )and 4 shoulder pads. On the playstation these would be R1, R2, L1, and L2.

Like I have said above it's very cheap and not that good. If it can be programmed so that I can use it for the skill and freekicks swerve then all to the good.

But if not can someone reccommend one that can?
