Well im going to buy an MP3 player and ive been looking around on amazon and ive seen that it says you need windows 98(SE) or above to use it. The thing is ive got windows 98 and i dont know if its (SE) or not, how can i find out? Or isnt there any difference? Please help it will be very much apriciated.

Yeah, I had the the same problem (except it was a USB 2.0 upgrade card I was buying) but I just bought it anyway and it worked :) I still don't know what win98 I have tho :confused:

don't bother... it will work on any Win 98 system..

nah i had a minidisc...till it got stolen...along with the discs...

ipod can hold up to 40gb, they can also be used as a storage device, but the quality is fairly good, they have a hell of a lot of features, and ull have fun just muckin about with the dial on the front :p

minidisc is good until u have too many discs to remember whats on what...i never used to label them. and in my opinion its better to carry around 1 thing that 1 thing with 10 or so discs...

and having ur entire music collection on one device also takes out the frustration of not having the right song, and u dont have to go searching for all those songs that might be on something else...

but thats just my opinion, dont have to listen to me...

The new Dell Jukebox and Creative Nomad Zen are 2 other alternatives.

both are harddrive based mp3 players and are really good (Y)
