Anyone here into podcasting? I'm looking for some entertainment for work. I'm basically standing for 12 hours every day, looking for dust and scratches on a plastic plate, and I want something to listen to, other than music.

Anyone got any suggestions? It can be anything from comedy, gaming, sports, music, and other things that are interesting.

Well there are alot of American radio podcasts I know of but I don't know if you want to listen to any American podcasts or not.

American/English podcasts are probably more interesting than Norwegian one's anyway, so please tell me about some good one's

3 summers I worked in a machine shop. I would have cried while working if I was someone who cries. WORST. JOB. EVER. Yours sounds like its in the same boat.

Yeah, it probably is. It's the worst job in the factory, and they usually rotate on doing it, but since I don't work there permanently, I get to do it all the time. Yippee!

Definitely check out the Ricky Gervais podcasts, funny as hell.

I think they charge you about a quid for the new podcasts but you can still download the old ones for free.

Yeah they were worth the listen while the world cup is on.

Other football ones worth listening to are The Beautiful Game (mainly EPL stuff) and the Guardian World Cup podcasts.

Being what I am I listen to all of the podcasts from the Guardian (they cover news/ media/ arts/ science) and many from the BBC ranging from the Today show through to The Transfer Rumour Mill from 5 live. But I am a news junkie.
