poor performance with Geforce7900GS

Hi all

I recently bought a PC with the Geforce 7900GS graphic card, but when I try to play FIFA07, I was suprised to find the game hardly run smooth at all since I have one of the latest graphic card installed. The game's graphic is excellent, but I have problem with gameplay such as when a player pass the ball, the game either lag or the player itself seemed to flicker, are there any patch that can fix this, or whether it will help if I change the resolution of both the game and the computer itself, anything that may improve the performance of the game will be great

PS-I already have the latest driver installed and the game lag even worse if I run at a lower detail

What resolution are you running the game at? If you have some kinda crazy 30 inch screen and running at resolutions in excess of the usual 1280x1024, then you're bound to run into probs.

also, make sure that you have got the latest video card drivers.

HI,

I find that the 81.98 drivers work best for me. I use dual 7800GTX in sli. Also, are you using an LCD monitor? I do, and find that if I override the refresh rate to 75 htz on a dvi cable, it elimiantes ghosting and has a nice smooth gameplay.

Make sure you have your sound drivers updated as well.

i have a 7600gs and i used the performance tuner you can download in www.fifa4fans.de 's download section

if that doesnt work there is a level of detail settings file on gamingaccess.com in the download section also..

dunno which file helped me more though since im using both :amika:
