**** the Pope. What good has he done? How many people have died because he is opposed to the use of condoms? Remember Cardinal Law? He was going to jail for helping cover-up the child-molestation scandal in Boston's catholic churches. But the Pope decided to help the good man out and now he's living in Rome.

It's a amazing how religion can drive some people to be sensitive little b!tches. :)

(that's coming from a kafflik btw.)

regardless of anyone's religious beliefs, it's just downright disgusting to see comments like, "hurry up and die" "the sooner the better"

he's very sick and most likely will die, let him have his peace.

any of you agree with this... people are born with presonalities, coming from the way they look, humans started off as different types, then merged, well anyways... ur born with ur personality, from there u can take its advantages and disadvantages and be good or bad... discovered baked

i don't think that you are born with a personality..... its something that's formed by your environment

anyway........ i'm no catholic or anything, but this stuff was in bad taste :nape:

yeah man thats what i though too, but don't u notice that when u first meet someone you already have the instinct, already know just from their look, what they are like... and im not talking about clothing, thats often vague as well so don't depend on it

i think that's more from the way they walk, their stance, how they react to people etc..... it's got to do with confidence etc, and IMO that comes from your environment as you were growing up

Well i'm talking about the first time u lay eyes on them, without observing their environment..

Oi! I am a normal person...but that's just relative anyway isn't it? :p

So you Pope lovers, tell me what good he has actually done? Other than representing a religion. What does he do? Tell me, because I sure can't see him doing anything special.

Actually the pope is a very busy man. Being pope is nothing like a ceremonial function or something, it's hard work. And I do mean that seriously.

I just sort of despise Catholicism because for what it has done to mankind over the ages. There aren't many religions as criminal as Catholicism. I know a lot of people find comfort and support in it, but it's just not it for me. I don't think being as conservative as the Vatican is, is going to do any good.

Aye, I mean consider all the things he has to attend and then consider his age. The man's got balls and right now he's busy dying.

Amazing coincidence.

The Pope will die in the exact same day 15000 children less than 5 years old will die of hunger.

I'm just glad people care and pray for the Pope, god bless him.

Too much attention just to 1 man, no matter what he has done :kader: However this thread is in rather bad taste, besides making SG forums look really stupid.

****in Scots these days
Hey Rony ... There's a million Roman Catholics in Scotland of which I'm one.
So don't label a nation as sick because of one guys misguided attempt at humour.
There's plenty of bigots around the world, not just in Scotland!

I'm no Catholic but i think it's darn right disrespectful to joke about anyone’s illness/death let alone the Pope's.

We should show a little respect to those Catholics who are grieving on this day.

That's because you're a lazy moron and your knowledge is probably determined by the IE favourites. Why would anyone lose their time to teach you? You don't even know what role has the man played in the fall of the iron curtain so I assume you're too stupid to learn anything (what do you know about him and dictatorships of Marcos, Stroessner or Pinochet).
