watched it tonight. opens Friday. I would give it like a B-.
pretty intense, non-stop action, fast paced, good survival story, minimal backstory which works well.

the negative IMO would be the actual sinking of the ship. it wasnt as big as it should've been. Of course Im comparing it with the grandeur that was Titanic but still, this wasnt even close.

Kurt Russell, Josh Lucas, Richard Dreyfuss, Jacinda Barrett, Mia Maestro and the kid were good. I didnt like Emmy Rossum (the girl from Phantom of the Opera) very much. her boyfriend was good though.
Johnny Drama was awesome but his acting was laughable compared to the others.

overall it was good though (Y)

saw it tonight since MI:iii was sold out. Wasn't too bad, but as Hakeem said, just not as grand as it should be. (SPOILER-->) But the part where Valentine died really made me emo... ohhhhhh how cruel the struggle for survival :(
