how important is it to play the players in their usual positions? does it matter if I play a LB as a RCB or RCDM, for example?

can a LB just as easily play as a RB in the game?

in the game, it doesn't matter. player stat not affect game that much. even you put ferdinand as striker also can score goal. but in real life, is a very huge different. a left footed defender playing is right side, something is bit hard for him to clear the ball by his favorite foot

But these days players are adaptable to many positions...take Lucas Neill for example...He can play anywere on the pitch, although he is a right foooter...Hmm hes only 66 on FIFA I think, its unfair

I spent a full season playing either LEB or REB - Left End of Bench or Right End of Bench. It really came down to the needs of the team and where I needed to be, come game time. :)
