or even Hillaruff...hell she wants to pull out within 60 days of becoming president and even that is ill advised, as we have made a ridiculous mess there in Iraq, and we just cant get up and go like we did in Nam....

thought I would point out, Obama has swept all the democratic primaries this weekend, winning 4 states in total...His delegate count is still about 50 behind Hilary's, but still, it will all come down to Ohio and Texas, if He can win either of those he will probably win the democratic nomination

Don't be too convinced that the Superdelegates giving Hillary her lead will stay committed to her. It would be very hard for the National Party to go against the will of the people and nominate the candidate with fewer votes and fewer elected delegates.

i agree but I have seen weirder things happen, no doubt this weekend was a serious blow for the Clinton machine...I am interested in that they would settle this sonner rather than later, because while they tear each other to pieces they could be tearing Mccain to pieces...hehe...I like Mccain, however I dont agree with a lot of what he views and defacto policy...

I actually liked one prediction I read from a pretty prominent liberal blogger today which basically said that as long as the Democratic nominee is in doubt, the GOP slander machine can't really start working for the General Election. So the coverage in the primaries of Hillary and Obama is going to be mostly positive through the summer, instead of slanderous and defamatory.

Definitely a good thing, and it's not as if the Republicans are totally behind a single candidate yet either...

well I Know one of the tenets of Obama's foreign policy is not only ending unilateral involvement in military action against others, but also expanding (or increasing) the amount of money, troops and action in Afganistan and Pakistan's border region, because he views afganistas as the greater threat in the war on terror....

Looks like a rout in my home state as well. Glad I could contribute.

There was a pretty long line at the polls today, about 15 minutes or so. Longer than I waited in the 2004 GENERAL ELECTION in a much more liberal voting district. It's crazy, the youth voter turn out is unreal. Oh, and Wisconsin has big turnouts, but I guess we aren't INCREDIBLE like many other states.

To paraphrase Stan Marsh:

"This one time, like 8 months ago, I saw two guys kissing in the park and that was the gayest thing I've ever seen until I saw that Hillary YouTube clip."

Huckabee needs to drop out. He's still holding out hopes that he'll win Texas, but even that looks unlikely at this point. Just let it go Mike... you made a great run, you surpassed all expectations, but now it's time to step aside and lend your full support behind John McCain.

Well if he can keep the momentum going and ensure that youth voters and black voters turn out in November (given he gets the nomination) then that can only be a good thing, especially if it means that the turnout is the largest it has been for years. Granted he will have a significant challenge when the republicans will do everything they can to either disenfranchise those voters or lock them up but still... Hillary will have a hard road back but who knows.

Who would he likely grab as a deputy if he were successful?
