I definitely didn't like FIFA 07. I haven't played PES6 yet. From the two though I'll go with PES6, because FIFA 07 was crap.

oh please please the feeling of the game and the players are gone? i saw this type of game play in fifa, i hate it it doesn't matter how many times i play everyfing is ruined i expected just simple improvements why did they have to touch on the game play oh no this not on it's terrible, i'm just thinkin if winning eleven is gonna be same or not

PES6 is by far the best soccer simulation game on the market and the best of all pes series.not much is new but i willing to be patient knowing that it is the last version they will base for the PS2 specifications.Fifa is really improving but PES is still way better.i think the best way to really have a great satisfaction is just buying both.sometimes it's funny to play that fifa crap especially for all the great animations and so on but at the end of the day it's PES6 that you will be turning to!

I tried Fifa and thought it was an awful game tbh, at first i found pes6 a bit fiddly but that always happens going from previous editon to new one, now after playing a few games and eventually gettigna game online i can see its gonna be great.
2v2 is alot of fun aswell, and from what i`ve seen theres ben no lag during game.

I have both and Id rather play PES6 than fifa07. There are SO MANY dumb goals in fifa07. 
And the goalies are so slow and retarded. Most of my goals come from my strikers. In PES6 I get more of a variation of who scores. Pes6 wins in gameplay which is where it matters the most. Fifa wins in everything else where it doesnt really matter much with all the editing possible nowadays.

Better football and more like the real thing in PES6 than in FIFA07 , I can see the point in FIFA07 of players on the ball twisting and turning dip of the shoulder this way and that, and little darts left and right and so on when I have one of my players in front of them, but the cpu players do all these things even when my players are nowhere near ...
It one thing to have a slow build up , but in FIFA07 when you hit or hold the sprint down , the player animation like like there running on wet tar or trying to run up a wind tunnel when it on.. The sprinting is slow and looks laboured, shot are like 100mph and you can score from 30-35yrds.
Overall I don't like it ...
I do like the ball, but the overall physics "still not 100%" but the way it reacts when it hits the post or bar or a player, looks more life like than in PES and that includes PES6.
Player Graphics , PES6 over FIFA07 players in PES6 look like the players but in FIFA07 they don't. It might be different on a 360 , but in my PC the player look better in PES..
Id take the throw in from FIFA07 over PES6 , no invisable wall in 07 and I like that, make you work at your throw-ins.

hah im just laughing man that's all i played the game i have won matches but i tell you now, the feeling of the game is gone! gone foe good, how can i say someone said it's like the arcade, yeah surely is the simulation has gone with a weird inbalanced tune like they have taken out the smoothness, to understand what im going on about please gibe winning eleven 9 LE a go on pc,
why am i talking about pes6 because the gameplay is gone, complete new gameplay just like the fifa game engine. im really angry about this real angry, i know most of you won't agree with me just beacuse of the prestige of the game and you people like any type of soccer game.

I think you are absolutely right but you notice this things only when u play on line. What happens is that people pass the ball 2000 times inside the box, ur defenders are 20 meters far away from the forward, they can't stop tem and fast player can go coast to coast without being catched. Also shooting feels like nothing.
Now if u play off line the game is better than PES5. Better AI and more control over the players. But since i only play on line (no fun in beating the AI) this game is really the first huge disappointment konami gave me (i played the same since the ISS time).
But Fifa is embarraging so I guess I'll stick to pes5 and welek.
