Problem using waterloo tool

My first problem is that the colours and the number types ingame are not the one that appears in Waterloo!?!

Therefore, whatever I modify with Waterloo it has no effect in the game!?!

Anybody thinking of a possible solution?

Yes, you have to compress the param_dat.bin_000 back into the param_dat.bin file and insert the modified param_dat.bin in 0_text.afs, then you have to get the 0_text.afs in the game's directory/ISO

Thanx but I know that, it's exactly what I've been doing!
But it has no effect in the game...

Actually I followed the tutorial but as I explained the changes are not effective in the game!So weird!?

I guess you are not clicking on 'Write file' after making changes

I do click on "write file" and then re-import the param_dat in the game but no effect...
I really don't understand!

Yes I do follow the tutorial step by step!
But if I delete my option file it works, what I don't wan't to do as I have all the teams up to date, etc...
Any solution?

in that case set the kits back to default as you obviously changed the numbers in game!
If you'd have mentioned that in the first place this would have been sorted straight away

No it's not that, 'cause I use the Wolf option file and I didn't touch anything on it, except some player's appearance, but not numbers, that's why this is so weird

why don't you just ask someone to send you the param_dat file by @? It's far more simple I think.

I took off all the patches and did a new proper install, so it should now work...

Well I have new problem : I can't figure out how to put the param_dat.bin_000 back in the game!!
I used to know but I can't remember...even with the tutorial...

After modifying the param_dat.bin_000 I open Waterloo's, then "view", "ZLIB manager", "load sections from file..." there I choose the param_dat.bin_000, "compress"... and then I'm stuck, what's next please???
