Problem with starting the demo

Installation looks perfect. I started the "FIFA 06 Demo" file, went through all the "It's in the game" advertisement, and reached the main screen. After I clicked on it, it went to a screen with 2 teams side by side, supposedly where I pick the teams before starting a game. However, the "league", "team", and "Home/Away" buttons all kept changing by itself, eg. they kept switching between ManUtd - ParisSG - AC Milan. And clicking on any of those keys or the "Advance" key had no effect. Can't go on or quit, so I had to exit by "brutal" force. (ctl+alt+del)

Is it just me?

lots have had this problem, there is a thread on it but in short the problem is this........
wireless or bluetooth keyboards/mouse

if you have a set plugged in the above will happen, if you use wired kb/m then the game is fine,


im sure ea will sort it for the main programme

Thank you bizjer, it actually works after I unplug the wireless mouse!!

My first impression is the faces, the referee and the "no face" players are just the same as FIFA2005. The atmosphere feels nicer, and the corners are handled better.

Yet to try to score my first goal yet.......this is great!
