Hello,

Does anyone know the solution to the problem where you can't open the online mode of FIFA 2007 when you have Internet Explorer 7 installed on your computer? Are there any patches around to fix this problem?

Please share similar experiences. I hate not being able to play online...

Uable to start Online Play to setup account

I have a similar problem. I am running, Vista with Explorer 7. When I select "Games Mode", "Play Online" I get two script errors.

Line: 10
Char: 3
Error: Error in Loading DLL
Code: 0
URL: file:///C:/Program%20Files/EA%20SPORTS/FIFA%2007/data/EASO/fifa/main/easoMain.html

Line: 20
Char: 2
Error: 'gapi' is null or not an object
Code: 0
URL: file:///C:/Program%20Files/EA%20SPORTS/FIFA%2007/data/EASO/fifa/main/easoMain.html

I opened "easoMain.html" and noticed this code:

......
<script src="gameAPI.js"></script>
<script src="tgAPI.js"></script>
<script src="fgAPI.js"></script>
<script src="easoAPI.js"></script>
<script src="../../commonJS/tools.js"></script>
......

The "tgAPI.js" and "fgAPI.js" scripts are nowhere on my system even after reinstall (from download manager), but "gameAPI.js" and "easoAPI.js" are there. Could this be the reason I got the script errors? If this is the reason I get the errors, where can I get these scripts?

The guys at EA support don't have a clue. I've logged the errors over a week now with several replies but no solution.

Problem resolved. Antivirus firewall had closed several ports required for online play.

TCP/IP ports for outbound connection:

HTTP 80 TCP/IP
HTTPS 443 TCP/IP
MsgConn/IM 13500-13599 TCP/IP
Roomsvr 32300-32399 TCP/IP

UDP ports for the outbound and inbound connections
Game Packets 3658 UDP
News Ticker 9570 UDP
