problems with fifa 2003 and ge force video cards

Please can someone help me. I have the new fifa. When i start the game i see a black screen then it switches back to my desktop. is it because of my video card . what should i do. I heard about drivers that can correct this. do u know where i can get.

I have exactly the same problem.. The screen turns black and the game jumps back to the desktop. I have a GeForce 2 card. Please tell me if you have fixed this problem!

Why dont you guys go to www.google.com

and search for your drivers its easy.

if it doesnt work try changing desktop display settings

if that one doesnt work either download the latest directx for

your system.(help a lot very very much)

Heres another solution change your game settings

800x600(what ever) 32

to 800x600(what ever) lol to 16

should work I guess.

be sure that you are using 30.82 and that the drivers are installed correctly.
You can check if they are installed correctly by going into advanced property's of the video card and choosing the page that refers to the name of your videocard. in the information of the video card field there are various filenames with nearby the version number. ensure that they are all the same. If not reinstall the drivers.

hi im also having problems with this game i purchased it on 3rd november and am very disapointed with it i bought it from wh smiths for my new computer which i built the specs are as follows

amd athlon 1.8 ghz
256 mg ddr ram equivalent to 512 meg normal ram
geforce 4 mx 440
5.1 soundcard
samsung syncmaster 753 dfx 17 ich monitor

now the problems i am having are when the intro of the match comes on and its scanning down the pitch i get big ugly textures tears in the scenery i also get like when u loom at the players u can see through them sometimes and the kits are the same
also the game is very slow

now the solution i have tried are updating every driver for graphics etc i installed direct x 8.1 well reinstalled it
i have tried each and every graphics /resolution to no avail
i am running it on windows millenuim edition and nned help as i should be able to look at lush graphics instead of **** graphics as all my other brand new games ie return to castle wolfenstein and medal of honour work perfectly

please help

In the Display Settings there is a tab where you can change the settings for your video card. There is an option that says antisotropic filtering, bring it back to the left, leave it in 0 (cero).

i experience the problem of the exe loading, but with nothing happening. just head into task manager, close it down and try it again. bang! works!
