How can I play FIFA 12 with my ps3 controller on pc?

That I can share with you.
Goto motioninjoy and download a driver for it. You can use as wired device (usb cable) or wireless game controller. But you need a bluetooth connection. If you use desktop, usually it didn't have bluetooth device, hence use a bluetooth dongle (if you want to use wireless connection with PS3).

If you're using notebook, usually it has bluetooth enable, so it just a matter of linking PS3 controller to your bluetooth device. BUT be aware that once it is link to PS3 game controller, you can't link other BT devices like phones, printers to your notebook.

I play games in desktop, and much enjoy playing fifa 11 and now fifa 12 using PS3 wireless controller.

In short, go and search MOTIONINJOY for downloading, video tutorial by the programmer himself.

Thank you very much but how do I play it so it's the exact controls like the ps3 version. I can't seem to do the skills, normal tackling I can't do either and for me when it says to press 'START' I have to press 'SELECT' on the ps3 controller in order for it to think it's 'START'. Help ?

you can have the PS3 buttons if you use the FIFA 11 ButtonData.ini for FIFA 12. here you can find how to make it work..

If you're using real PS3 controller and Motioninjoy driver, then it is easy. You just need to enable Playstation 3 mode.
I can do the skills and movement just like in PS3 (as long as the player has the skill levels 2 or above mind you).

I'm playing fifa pc using ps3 controller for months already, ever since I stumble the motioninjoy driver.

to note this, I tested it and had the same prob as bronc, change of buttons... how can I rechange them back?

Guys, I have found a possible solution from some random website on the internet. The closest we can get to using the ps3 controls on fifa 12 pc is by selecting XBOX 360 emulator on motioninjoy. I used it and its better already. However, I would now like to know how I can change the controls of the game, as I was used to normal tackling in fifa 11 with 'X' on ps3 but now it has change to 'O'.

I play with PS3 controller AS PS3 controller, which is probably more familiar setup for PS3 user.

At first I do have problem using it especially the right stick.

So, should oneself want to use PS3 setup, choose Playstation3 and click OPTIONS. Then do these ONE change, AXIS Ry, TICK reversed. then ENABLE it.

That is all to it.

This is how I set it up on mine and it works flawlessly. You don't need to change any button mappings to get the default controls. If you want non default controls I think you can change those inside the game. Can't remember exactly where the option is though.

Using the XBOX 360 emulator is the best way. All the controls are like the ones on the ps3 version. I have changed to legacy defending which is normal defending in fifa 11 and 10, etc. and now I can use X again for tackling!

Any1 using motionjoy/ps3 pad and suffering usb disconection please read

i,ve been using motionjoy and ps3 pad connected by usb for fifa 12 now for 7 months and my

pad constantly disconnected and occassionaly i got bsod.well you guys are going to love me

because i,ve found the solution its called "FIFA 12 PC Universal Gamepads Configuration" i found out about it on utube heres the link

somebody please try it and let everyone know that it works heres how u do it

1) download FIFA 12 PC Universal Gamepads Configuration
2) start motionjoy as normal and choose xbox emulator
3)then start the FIFA 12 PC Universal Gamepads Configuration and set buttons
4) once buttons are set exit motionjoy u dont need it anymore
