Quaresma finally is showing his talent this season. i hope he keeps this shape for the world cup.

This guy will carry our NT into the WC final, if he gets there injury-free and... if he gets there at all. Scolari has been a moron not to call him this far but I'm certainly he'll end up taking the wizard to Germany.

Btw, I was in the stadium when Quaresma scored that last goal in this comp. It is currently Eurosport's n.1 goal of the season and I'll always be thankful to the gipsy for that kodak moment.

The most impressive thing about that video is that it only gathers stuff he's done this season :|
words start being short to describe his current form.....

He would indeed be massive in the WC to come, but I feel the b'tch called Scolari will not call him.
OK we've got great wingers able to do well for our NT, but Quaresma's influence in a match can be simply breathtaking.
The man assists, dribbles, scores, defends......
at the moment he's simply one of the most talented players in the world, I have no doubts about it.

Cristiano who? (H)
 Quaresma

He'll be the 4th choice winger if everything goes well...remember he's been this good for only 1/2 season and he's still showing inconsistency.

I think Co Adriaanse deserve a lot of praise too, Quaresma was an almost wasted talent before the Dutch coach came along. That being said, I'm crossing my fingers that Scolari acts like a true NT manager and calls the best player in Portugal. It would be a crime for Quaresma to sit at home and watch the WC..

quaresma:rolleyes:nem chegamos ao carnaval...

seriously, the man is in great shape, i just hope he never returns to the days when he was a Carlos*ss...and as much as i still don't like him, i hope he can help porto to win the double this year...

this is absolutely Adriaanse's work, because the talent and the physical shape is the same from the last few years he sucked... except this time he's got discipline and apparently learned to be usefull. I wonder how long it would last if Adriaanse left Porto and he was stuck with another coach like Couceiro.

and he's still inconsistent. on big matches he's not even there. unlike Ronaldo who has been decisive on cup finals for united, matches against arsenal, or even scoring a goal in the Euro semi-final

Quaresma is pretty good, don't get me wrong, he's the top player in our leage right now, but please, don't say this guy is better than Ronaldo, it's just not true. See the backheel dribble and the curling outside-of-foot shoot/cross? That's pretty much all he can do. He gets away with it in against our defenders... because we all know the quality of our teams like Penafiel, Guimaraes, Gil Vicente or Rio Ave... but against tough defences, like Inter or even those Artmedia guys, he just got lost in the game...

no one said he's better than ronaldo
i said "he's in much better shape than cristiano ronaldo"

if both of them and deco are in shape for the WC2006 we can win against any team

Simao has been kickin' ass for Benfica for the last few years, also making great plays, assists, goals...

but he allways sucks for the NT

I wonder if itsn't the same with Quaresma...

I think you're being a :drevil:little:drevil: too reductive towards his abillities m8.

He's got a great arsenal of dribbles, it's not like he does the same thing all the time. I see him go left, right, using his right, left foot.....
the "trivela" crosses/shots are a trade mark of him, Drulovic was the only player I ever saw do that as well as Quaresma.
With those, he sets panic in every defense.

About him being only good against the Portuguese teams' defenders, I wonder if Cordoba (a world class defender) thinks that way too.
after they met in this years' CL, Cordoba must still be having nightmares involving Quaresma.

He also helps the team defending, and that like you said is entirely Adriaanse's work.
Who'd say we'd see him running back behind the midfield line to get the ball back even if he wasn't the one losing it.

So, I think he's much closer to being a complete footballer than many people think, but this is obviously just the way I see it.
He's back to the Sporting times in terms of magic, but now his game is globally much more mature.

Yup, Scolari has to do it...anyway, if he still calls him, he will be the secret weapon, because the wings are destinated to Figo and Ronaldo.

And yes, best player of the league...so far.
