See the backheel dribble and the curling outside-of-foot shoot/cross? That's pretty much all he can do.
I think you're being a :drevil:little:drevil: too reductive towards his abillities m8.
He's got a great arsenal of dribbles, it's not like he does the same thing all the time. I see him go left, right, using his right, left foot.....
the "trivela" crosses/shots are a trade mark of him, Drulovic was the only player I ever saw do that as well as Quaresma.
With those, he sets panic in every defense.
About him being only good against the Portuguese teams' defenders, I wonder if Cordoba (a world class defender) thinks that way too.
after they met in this years' CL, Cordoba must still be having nightmares involving Quaresma.
He also helps the team defending, and that like you said is entirely Adriaanse's work.
Who'd say we'd see him running back behind the midfield line to get the ball back even if he wasn't the one losing it.
So, I think he's much closer to being a complete footballer than many people think, but this is obviously just the way I see it.
He's back to the Sporting times in terms of magic, but now his game is globally much more mature.
