I recall last year someone released a patch in which announcers from four or five nationalities would say the players name. I think Breamster put it out ...
Anyway, on to my question: does anyone know if you can assign a sound file to a player ID through any of the current editing tools. I am wondering about this because it would be neat to create the teams that featured in the World Cup 2006 game and have the announcer say their name. I do not even know what the embedded sound file for the players name would look like, or how to assign it to another player ... if you could, you could take the recorded names from World Cup and FIFA 2006.
Anyway, it would be pretty sweet. The audio is really compelling in FIFA 2007, and I think this would make it even better, plus I am sure gamers who support some of the lesser-light countries, like Japan or Honduras or Venezuela, would love to have their star players recognized by the announcer.
Obviously, I have the programming skills of a drunken organgutang ... can anyone out there answer my question?
