Question about CM 07 and creating a tournament

So I created a tournament to add to manager mode in FIFA 07 and have run into a couple problems...and just want to see if anyone has any answers....

I created a sort of International Champions League so to speak....It was all club teams, but from all over the world instead of just Europe...

When I first created it I used dates that I came up with...this did not work as it messed with the Italian League calander(i usually play as AC Milan in my manager modes) and would cause a game crash to windows....

Then I matched the dates with the actual Champions League in the game (ECC)...

This worked but I ran into a second problem...I had the winner of the Champions League AND the Winner of Serie A qualifying....well I THOUGHT that the game would compensate for the same team winning both and take the second place team...but it doesnt....so I qualified twice as AC Milan and had to play myself...and actually by "loosing" the game, FIFA eliminated both AC Milans from the tournament....

I fixed that problem by going to just the winners of the various leagues around the world....and now I ran into the 3rd problem and I'm looking for some help here...

I played all the way through to the Semis....won my Semi game...but instead of the Final being the two winners...it was just a replay of the OTHER Semi Final....now I've checked my inputs in CM 07 over and over again, and the tourney is set up properly....anyone have any ideas??

how should it? you created the tournament yourself and you said the last year's winner of that cup and the italian champion are qualified. the game simply does what you say.

sometimes such problems can be fixed by re-creating the tournament. even if you think you made it absolutely the same, it can be fixed.

1. Well take for example the Super Coppa Nazionale (Italian Super Cup) supposed to be the winner of Serie A and Coppa Italian...but if the same team wins, it compensates...I was wrong in assuming the game would do this for a created tourney...

2. yeah I'll give it a try just re doing it...

like in every kind of programming we have to be absolutely precise. if you create a tournament, you'd have to tell the game which team replaces the cup winner (e.g. the loser of the final, or an additional team from the league) but you can't do that with creation master.

totally understand that now lol....trial and error i guess
