Questions About FIFA 14

I haven't played FIFA on my PC in a long while so I'm not sure where the modding world is today but is there any way I can get the Copa America in FIFA 14 through a mod? How about the Champions League?

Oh... I can't seem to find the Champions League and I was under the impression that the FIFA 14 didnt have any national squad competitions like the Copa America? Is the PC version different from the console versions?

no, they are playable in career mode, on the pc we can make them available via tournament mode with a few quick edits.

Oh, ok. Well, I'd rather play them in tournament mode than career mode. I don't like playing as only one player. Any recommendations on a good mod for the PC version?

FIFA 14 Season Calendar Question

I don't understand something about FIFA 14. I think this has occurred in previous FIFA versions as well.
When I'm playing a season, my calendar has a legend that indicates the icons for League and Cup matches. But I never have any Cup matches to actually play. Did I start my season the wrong way? Does anyone know why I'm not seeing Cup matches? I don't get why they list Cup matches if none ever occur.

had you gone through the entire calendar looking for the icons ?

CL and EL don't start until the second season, coppa italia and tim cup should be playable first season depending on the club you pick.

Wow, ok. So for someone like me that never plays franchise modes in any sports games this is something I'll never see then. I play the current season, matching transfers and injuries of the real season and when it's over I stop playing and start with the new game.

Well then clearly your PC version is either different from the console version or you have a mod you haven't mentioned because on PS3 there is nothing but club football tournaments.

i had said in one of my first posts that it only takes a few edits to make it happen.

if you have it for pc i can either give you the files or show you how to do it.

I must have misunderstood what you were saying.
If you have a link to the mod, that would be great.

I think, if there's a page with the mod for downloading you should just share that link because not having ever installed it, I don't understand the question.

go to this directory.

CProgram Files (x86)\Origin Games\Online\Game\dlc\dlc_FootballCompEng\dlc\FootballCompEng

then download this file.

extract the data folder and drag it into the directory above.

download the tool called File Master 14 and install it.

once the files are in their correct location and you have install the above tool,
click tools- regenerate bh.

then go in game under tournament mode and look at the cups in the countries of England and Chile.

i chose the countries, when you enter tournament mode the unlocked CL and EL are assigned to England and the Copa America is assigned to Chile.

Now with these cups set to countries and not federations career mode is no longer usable.

i'm not sure if you are interested in the World Cup but if you are we have created a bad ass mod containing 207 national teams, no clubs and two forms of the cup.

you can play the entire qualification up to the World Cup Final or you can simply play with the Final 32 national teams.

it will kill career mode if you do it, i offered the option to him because he said he doesn't play career mode and neither do i.
