anyway pennant is turning out to be a hot prospect for the future. wenger should definitely give him more starts next season. he's got a few caps for the england u21s too eh?

This match values little to me. The premiership has already been decided. Southampton even were cheeky enough to use their reserves. That goes to show how important is.

Strachan should have stuck out 11 psychos fromt he reserves just to injure the Arsenal players. Maybe then Arsene would have had valid grounds to say they used cheap tactics.

I guess you saw Cygan against Middlesbrough and Bolton, and Arsenal without him against Bolton and Leeds and you said, "wait one minute; Arsenal actually play better WITH Cygan"

Besides that though, just by listening to Wenger's inferences, I think he is going to announce three or four HUGE buys.

Saw him playing for Watford earlier this season .... not bad and good goals yesterday.

Cos Southampton played a weakened team and Arsenal had zero perssure...like they did at the start of the season...but as they proved in the premiership and in the CL when the going gets tough Arsenal just can't hack it.

Well, Kanu, Luzney and Igors are great compared to what Southampton had, plus they weren't the players who made it 6-1, i only saw 3 players because of whom 6 goals were scored, Henry, Pires and Pennant, ofcoarse there were 2-3 players like Garry playing well, but those 3 are the players who really played and made it 6-1.
