1-0 to Wales at half time. Gary Speed with with a header, from a corner to the far post, in the 9th minute.

Wales look good but the slow defense seems troubled by the pace of Azerbaijan's attackers. Let's hope Wales can either hold on to or preferably improve on their lead.

Finland has dominated all of their matches v.s. Wales, Yugoslavia & the Azers but we just haven't been able to score. Finland's position in the group gives the wrong impression. Well at least we beat the Welsh supporters in the fan match.

the match will be on Eurosport tonight around midnight Finnish time so that would be around 10 PM in the U.K.
