I only saw the highlights on DW news this morning.

But it the disallowed goal certainly looked like a bad call.

But similarly the decision not to give a penalty when they dropped Klose to the ground was a bad call.

Jeremies long range shot was nice, too bad it hit the bar. (H)

And amazingly, there was only one Milan player called up.

Ambrosini, who isnt even among the ideal Milan first eleven..

Im still very disappointed this game wasnt on TLN, they BETTER show the game against Wales. To anybody who saw the game, just curious how Tacchinardi played. Does anybody else find it VERY odd that the european champions only had ONE italian representitive in the team? and of all ppl Ambrosini?? why dont they just call up Brocchi and get it over with. How Pirlo and Gattuso continue to be constantly overlooked is truely amazing. Oh well, at least they won, and scored one of the greatest goals ive ever seen.

Well I don't think it's so odd.. There aren't so many world-class Italians in Milan's starting 11. Nesta was injured...

Then again, one might wonder why Del Vecchio is on the team..

Yeah, but Pirlo and Gattuso still wouldnt have been called up, they havent been in a while. It angers me, cause i dont think theres any other italian who would play as well as Rino in that 2 man defensive midfiled line behind the attacking midfielders. It kills me.

in milans strongest lineup, Gattuso, Pirlo, Nesta, Maldini(retired, but still italian) and Inzaghi all start, and Ambrosini is a key sub, while Abbiatti could be the no.1 goalie this season. Im getting a bit pissed off about ppl bad mouthing italian sides saying they dont field a lot of italian players. After searching around these are the figures for europes top teams.

Milan - 5
Juve - 8 (VERY impressive)
Inter - 5
Lazio - 7
Arsenal - 2 home based players (WOW)
Man utd - 4
Bayern - 4
Real madrid - 4
Barcelona - 3

TLN won't show the game against Wales. The rights that TLN had over the Italian national team games and other RAI programming will end on August 31st. TLN will show Serie A games. They have the right of GOLTV(I think). Maybe they could get the right of the Italy-Wales game from GOLTV if they show it.

With TLN you'll see the Serie A. For the national team you'll need to wait until RAI International come to Canada. I hope very soon.
