No Seba Veron? surprised really...:)

Bielsa is trying out a squad with a base of players from the U21 world cup champion team. They are playing really well, and this way if they wait longer to call players like Veron, Crespo, Ortega, they will hopefully want to perform better because there place isn't guaranteed anymore. It isn't only for that reason that he's called this squad, but he's looking ahead to Copa America 2004, and is trying out some players for that. :)

I'm not a Bielsa fan, but this young squad is doing very good

This match further concreted in my mind that Javier Zanetti is the best RWB in the world:rockman:

Not only is he a world class footballer but he's a good person too. His pupi charity is pretty big and he does some amazing things for the poorer kids in Argentina. Definately one of the finer people in football.

I notice it's Kirin Cup tournament. :o

Correct me if i'm wrong, but are South Korea and Uruguay part of this tournament? I know Argentina plays this Wednesday against South Korea, not sure if it's for this same cup.

All I know, Kirin Cup 2003 tournament is three-countries-tournament : Japan, Argentina, & Paraguay.

I don't think Uruguay & South Korea involve in this tournament.
