I am actually not upset about the result - United deserved it. I just pissed, as always, at the attitude of these Liverpool 'fans' - no doubt relatives of the inbred 606 whiners (who get back surprisingly fast from the match to call in, eh?) who say Houllier should be fired.
These are the same geniuses who would have sacked Fergie all those years ago when he wasn't doing well.
Yes, he sold Fowler - yup, oh Robbie's been lighting up the score sheet at City and Leeds, eh?
Same people who were singing his praises after we were top and undefeated are the same who want to burn him. Nothing in football is for certain - for ****'s sake we won a trophy this year, something Newcastle have not done in 30+ years.
I think these fairweather fans need to take a look at Liverpool under Souness and Roy Evans - those were teams with no future, with two trophies in almost ten years - Houllier brings in 6 in 4 years, CL football, a new academy, a bloody young squad with the two french wonderkids on the way next year and yet these 'fans' would see him out on the street. This a man who almost died and against the orders of his physicians has returned to manage our team.
I'm bloody glad that the travelling kop and Rick Parry have the foresight and vision that's seriously lacking by these 606 wannabe fans.
Kopites - not gobsh!tes.
You'll Never Walk Alone
[don't sing it if you don't understand what it stands for]
Good luck the rest of the way United.
