OMG I feel sorry for West Ham. We're not defeating them, we're humiliating them..... While typing this Solskjaer is adding the 6th!!!
Man U played some excellent football but boy, West Ham's defending was utterly atrocious. I actually felt a bit sorry for guys like Joe Cole and Lee Bowyer who kept on trying, despite having to play with only half a team.
And why on earth were West Ham not awarded a penalty when Neville sliced down Bowyer. Thaty could have made it 6-1 and it would have been game on again.

They played like champions today, it was men against boys, the fat lady was singing loud and clearly etc lol.
Excellent to see Ruud back in his old form again, what a goal that first one was
Amazing footwork and the finish..........ooooooh
The hammers were trashed today by a far better and eager ManUnited. They played out of their skins and deserved victory!
Arsenal watch out cause we're coming to get you, fighting on all fronts (worthington, FA, CL and EPL) surely the prices must come in the end.

I agree. I think it is time to give Lee Bowyer a break and Joe Cole was outstanding for West Ham, but he can't do it on his own. Carrick and Cole should keep on playing in the EPL for them to learn and grow.... hopefully for West Ham that is at West Ham.

It was an exhilerating performance by Man Utd and the way they were playing few teams would have been able to live with them.
West Ham were lucky to just concede 6 goals for their defence was diabolical. Their midfield offered little resistance in defence or any creativity up front. Defoe was horribly isolated.
They could have had a penalty late on but they were already 6 down. A bit late for anything to happen there. Joe Cole should have buried his chance beforehand anyway.
This diabolical performance will not help in building confidence in their fight for survival. Next up, a home game against Blackburn which is almost a must win.
