calve11, I'm sorry you think like that. It's sad that people don't understand how serious it is to go to a stad to drop a bomb on the pitch.
FYI, the Guimarães player got burned in his arm and leg, AS IT WAS VISIBLE IN THE FLASH INTERVIEW AFTERWARDS. The Gumarães assistant coach HAD TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL and was deaf for several hours. It's not certain if he got permanent damage in his audition.
In case you didn't notice, the game had 12 minutes of injury time, which is fair, having ni consideration the time that the game was stopped in that incident.
People got hurt in a deplorable incident. To me, it doesn't matter what club those players were from, it's beyond football and rivalries.
Costa 10, why do you ask that question? Is it because that's the way you would have felt if it was a Porto player?
A person that puts clubism ahead of personal integrity has a serious upbringing problem.
About the ref, why don't you follow Camacho's example? Now that's class. Besides, how can anyone complain about a penalty when Benfica's goal was preceeded by a flagrant foul? But I agree with Camacho: refs make mistakes too. The thing in Portugal is that people either talk about the refs or they're left with the obvious: Porto is way better than Benfica and Sporting.
Yeah, I do understand the seriousness of that "bomb", but I personally thought that it took way too long to get back to the game. It was frustrating for me, and after the incident I saw the Guimaraes player walking around talking to the press. That is waht got me mad, I wasn't pissed until they showed the guy up and walking around after, talking to the press. N E Ways whoever was responsible for this thing should be caught and dealt with, theres no room for this in soccer. This isn't the first incident with the Guimaraes, lets hope their hooligan fans go some where else to drop bombs........
About the reffing, I tried to follow Camacho's example, but I was holding it in for too long. I bet you Camacho is raging inside too! Benfica's goal came from 2 fouls, one from the Guimaraes defender who pushed down Simao, then Simao grabbed unto him and pulled himself up, fair call if you ask me. And the obvious is not that Porto is way better then Benfica and Sporting (Well, maybe Sporting...) thats not how it is. Porto has had many bad calls called in their favour, my friend is a huge Portista and he admits it. Porto has had way luckier calls this year....... Should I call it lucky, or intentional.................
