A very exciting day, I'm looking foward to Charlton - Wolves highlight tonight, see'ing as Wolves are losing 4-0 at Half-Time, I think United will literally destroy Wolves bit by bit on Wednesday.

Di Canio + Cole on the bench for Chalrton, no complaints since Charlton are leadin 4-0 @ HT.

Mutu has scored on his Chelsea debut to make it 2-1 vs Leicester City at half-time, well done. Hernan Jorge Crespo is in attendance watching the game, a deal with be done by now, but I think he would want to check Chelsea out and watch his pal Veron before putting pen to paper. :p

Pompey putting up a fight for survival, can they do a Birmingham and do much better than just staying up? Give it a couple of monthes and we'll see where they are at.

Boro take on the Arsenal tommorow afternoon, should be a great game, its a must see.

For live updates, Sky Sports livescores was not working the last time I tried it, it just kept refreshing the page.

Starting XI
Ahh, the forum's back to normal speed again. Boy oh boy am I looking forward to the rest of the prem highlights tonight!:D Wolves are having a torrid time of it, hopefully they can get it together. Blackburn, although the manager played down their chances of europe, I think they can make it in the top 8 this season. And I'm really surprised at Portsmouth. I thought they would be destroyed but it seems that Harry Redknap is doing a good job so far.:)

bad blood in the game between the foxes and the russians ( )
3 players sent off....brian deane shouldve equalised then with the goalie at his mercy. mutu...phew...wow

that postiga is looking very lively indeed...quick on the trigger and any one of his shots on a good day couldve gone in....(tho kanoute came in late and clinched the winner and showed the former the art of taking yer chances)

be afraid villa, be very afraid(H)

Senior Squad
Chelsea were ugly winners for the most part 3 points is still 3 points tho. Have to expect some rough games for a few weeks I think with all the new players.
Duff was amazing again :D
Mutu did well after scoring a wicked left volley...before that he was not effective. The goal gave him some confidence tho.

City always confuse me... they can beat teams like Charlton or Man Utd, yet they can never seem to beat relegation teams or teams that just got promoted :kader: the worst part is that Sommeil scored in injury time... so they almost LOST to a promotee :(

Yeah I know, I was hoping things might be different... and it was the first prem game at the new stadium as well.

Same old City..., mind you, dunno how long they will persist with Fowler...

ugh, Fowler  from all the pre-season match reports I read, Wanchope and Anelka were doing great together... they scored a goal in just about every match... BRING BACK WANCHOPE, KEEGAN, YA DUMBASS :kader:
