after i pasted the zipped file into the folders.. the players name and number has gone !!! how to get the name and their number on the jerseys back?

The player names and numbers being gone has nothing to do with the download because i only edited the enviroment files(cfg) the audio files and the ini.big file.If you installed direct x 9.0 this is why you dont see numbers this happened to a freind of mine also.


BTW Amir didnt you tell me you just wanted to post news about it not host the download??I took fifas name off because since i am not part of fifa-egypt and you arent hosting it why put fifa-egypt on it?
I made the screenshots you pasted some text on it.I asked you for some suggestions on names and you gave a suggestion.I forgot to thank anyone in the read me so your not being left out.

hm..i m currently using direct x 8.0 ... and i havent got a rain and thunder match so far!

Well its a weather patch it randomizes rain and adds thunder dont expect to play in rain the whole time.Try playing at highbury or munich stadium i find that they get allot more rain than Olimpico or anfeild.

Hey, I have DirectX 8 and I still get this problem. In fact when I uninstall your patch, the numbers return to normal. So it seems quite clear that it does, in fact, have something to do with your patch. Any ideas?

hhhmmm well i dont have name or numbers because my card isnt good anoff i dont think this could carry over from the files .But like you said it does have something to do with the files.Could i ask you to do me a favor?Cna you reinstall the patch without the ini file and see what happens?

You mean the "ini.big" file? Yeah, I tried both the original and your modified one, but to no avail.

Perhaps it does carry over. My theory is that some of the graphic settings on your computer may be saved in one or more of the files included in your patch. I think that could well be it...

I think ive found the problem open the cfg_file and scroll down you will see some that says god rays level lower that to 2 instead of two.I think this is the problem for sure.I made the lighting more complex which wasnt needed i didnt realize it did something because my card sucks.

Ergh, nope. That doesn't seem to be it. I don't know, seems we've hit a wall...

open the CFG file and you will see RMRAIN_DEPTH = 1050 change the number to 1000. if that doesnt work i dont know what to say.I guess to play with this patch you need a very crappy card or a very good card. No worrys though you can just uninstall the CFG files and leave the audio files that will at least give you the thunder sounds.
