PLEASE READ CAREFULLY
Dear friends, once again internet managed to surprise me.
But what is painful is that this time it's coming from someone amongst you. And yes I will be Drama Queen now because I simply can't understand why people are so bitter...
So what happened is that today I got a polite warning from one of the admins to fix my latest links and post direct links instead of link-shortener I use. Recently Soccergaming changed it's rules and now paylinks are not allowed anymore, and I completely understand the warning, the admins just did their job according to the rules. I saw that rule, but I also saw that many of you still post with shorteners and I assumed that the rule is not too strict, so I ignored it (I repeat, just as many of you still do). But apparently someone reported my page for the paylinks I use. So I have a message for that person, in the spirit of Justin Bieber's song - you can go and love yourself.
I don't know what that person was thinking, but I hope you are happy with the results of your acts and what you achieved... What now, should I be thinking about maybe not releasing conversions at all? Somebody else will do it anyway, right? Should I be now going around and reporting every single facemaker that still uses paylinks (don't worry guys I won't really do it
), which btw take you so little time to download compared to effort facemakers put in, and which doesn't harm your computer with viruses (at least my links are not)? I even disabled options that were too annoying even for me (and which would give me more income if they were enabled) just so that I can make the download less complicated for you guys, and I still get DISRESPECTED like this. Are you still proud that you so bravely reported me kid?
Once again, I am not 10-15 years old anymore and honestly don't really have time for this hobby when I think about it better, but I still find time because I love facemaking and I want as many people as possible to enjoy faces. Is it really a problem to click a few times to download a face or pack that somebody spent hours to create and to give that someone a little push in motivation?
Anyway this is getting long so I'll cut it short. Apparently my thread is now being watched, so I can't just ignore the warning, plus I don't want to go against the rules and disrespect the forum that gave me so much and that I grew up on. The admins were really polite and reasonable and agreed with one of my propositions, but I'll still have to think about it. So there are three options from here:
1. I post direct links + I post my link as optional link, so that if you want to support my work you can do so by clicking and downloading through that one as well (but lets be honest who would do that with direct link above
). This option would make sense for me only if I knew most of you would actually click and download through my link as well, just as a way of support.
2. I convert all the faces, sharing with you guys only previews but not releasing, so that you can watch what you miss on, only giving links to people who helped me convert faces. xD This would be mean to you just as this person was mean to me.
3. I leave the forum again and I don't convert any of FIFA 21 faces.
Obviously, first option would mean I spend a lot of time converting and gain almost nothing (btw I don't know how much these people think facemakers can make through links but I tell you it's not that much lol we do it because something is better than nothing and if we can earn a bit from it, why wouldn't we use that option?!), and I don't know if I can be bothered with that at this point in my life, so I'll have to think about it all.
Actually you know what, where is the guy who reported me, I will let you answer this question mate, you like to make decisions that affect others so I'll let you choose. Just leave a comment on this post. Come on, don't be shy now, be brave like you were.
