I'm just gonna continue to suck Kweli's dick and say "The Proud" is just one of the greatest songs ever. Seriously, this guy is educated like no one else in the public eye, I seriously wouldn't be surprised if he just quit the rap game one day, gave all of his money away to the poor and started writing philosophy books. x4dixinass, if you could just wrap your brain around 1/10th of the message and the specifics of Kweli's lyrics I don't know if you would be pimping G-Unit anymore. You have one group who haven't written a non-sexual lyric in 3 years, and then there's another who's trying to educate your dumb ass.

Actually I didn't wait for you to respond to my post, I was typing out a response to your post when you made that, you can tell because I didn't respond to your pathetic little rant against me, which no doubt I would have at least referenced if I was waiting so patiently for your precious response.

How do I know you don't listen to Kweli? Well first of all I don't know or care. I know you don't listen to him because you're an ignorant asshole. You just don't comprehend what he says, you hear something like "the government is the enemy" and you probably think one thing, but you don't have any clue how government has kept every single person in slavery for two millenia; you don't know what the hell I'm talking about right now. Well then I'm really going to baffle your ******* ass in a few sentences.

You just slammed Nas for being boring and not having good beats. First of all, beats are like rims on a car, they look nice, but you don't need them and a lot of times it takes attention away from what really matters. One mic, one mic, all I need is one ****in mic, not some beat to take your attention away from my lyrics because they don't mean anything. The last thing Nas cares about is comming up with a beat, same with Kweli, they'd probably spit over nothing, or just a really simple drum beat if they could. It's poetry, it's philosophy, it's everything that is meaningful in life, and everything that you just simply don't get. G-Unit in this world is like sex in the Brave New World, it distracts you from what's going on because it is pleasing to the senses. Stay in slavery, that's fine, but until everyone including all of you people wake up and open your eyes and your minds, all of humanity is stuck in your paradigm and can't move forward.

I don't think I'm cool or smart because I listen to Kweli, I think he has a lot of good things to say and his opinions are very in line with mine and I think some of the issues he brings up are far more important than anything on this earth because it's the progress of humanity as a whole. If I'm on a high horse it's because I have a well thought out opinion about life and modern society that people like you don't understand. I know you are never going to read dense philosophy (much less relavent stuff if you decided to prove me wrong), so to introduce you to some issues, you should listen to the man's music.

Oh, and yeah Illmatic has some great beats on it.
