they come here take our job, our girls, our money, rape girls, steal, make ugly babies, and so on

Apollon, get a f*ckin' life you miserable loser..

Quit hating on others just because they're out there living while you're spending new years watching tv with your grandparents...and if you're losing your job, girl, money, etc to an African immigrant who just arrived then there's definitely something wrong with you. You're lucky enough to live in a country where you're in control of your own destiny, quit being a scapegoating moron..

Admittedly, some of it is an aquired taste... some stuff like MF Doom and Madvillain (which is MF with Madlib) aren't always for everyone..

Acquired taste is fine. Perhaps it's technically good but not for everyone, fine. I haven't listened to rap in a long time. I'm 33 now and don't often have the time to hunt down good music, it can become atask. I'm so sick of seeing these @ssholes on TV with their chains, pitbulls, cars, etc. Same ol Sh!!te over and over nd over with nothing interesting to say. Most of the commercial stuff is so dumb that you can't help but to judge the people that listen to it! IQ's under 20 perhaps?

Help?

He definietly doesn't sound like everybody else, which is the same reason why 50 Cent, Chamillionare etc. got very popular. I was actually surprised at how big he became, i though he was just gonna flop with his movie and a CD, but a lot of people seemed to like "what you know". Personally though, Urban Legend was better than King imo.

T.I. can just pump out the hits like a lot of Southern Artists. Ludacris comes to mind. But he's alright, I'm a fan. I think he's a lot more credible in his subject matter than someone like Lil' Wayne for example. Plus I like the guys with obvious soulful influences, and you can hear it in some of his stuff. Not the most intelligent rapper out there, but he's good at what he does and is better than most in the game.

Brother Ali though. That's one of the cats who can do EVERYTHING. Very excited for his new album. Any news on Senim Silla, Luis? I registered with the message board without posting so I could see the news, but there really isn't much. I do see old posts where he says he has a distribution deal and should drop early this year.

he posted a few tracks on his myspace page, but dare I say it....I wasn't really all that impressed :( Still no news on a release date, he just says it's "almost done"

..maybe I'm judging them too hard, I keep expecting a Masters of the Universe/Waterworld repeat, but that would be pretty hard to top. On another note, Decompoze's album is supposed to be out at the end of this month. I'll be picking that up too for sure..

i personally think One Be Lo outshone SenimSilla on MOTU, plus S.O.N.O.G.R.A.M. was class, some of the best emceeing in the last couple of years.

I used to think that, but in the end I just think One Be Lo was more of the creative driving force behind MOTU, but as far as emceeing they were both pretty equal. Lo produces a few tracks, and on Silla's Caged Bird song, I just got the impression that Lo was walking him through it. Plus there are a million One Man Army solo songs, but I think only one Silla solo.

Jay z's album is beginning to grown on me, i like do u wanna ride, beach chair, kingdome come, show me what you got, still doesnt touch nas or the game's albums, The game hasnt lyrically grown as much as i wanted him to in the doc's advocate its still mainly cars and dre, i really hope he gets help with his next album from dre and works with jay z if they both stop subliminally dissing each other. Does anyone know if immortal technique's rev 3 is coming out anytime soon?

Immortal Technique's new album is gonna be The Middle Passage isn't it? Doc's Advocate was another disappointment for me. Dare I say it's even worse than The Doc. Minus the production and you have........

Kingdom Come is just crap IMO. He really should've not come back. Fishscale was where it's at. That was f*ckin ace.
