Ray Harford - R.I.P.

adam jansen

Youth Team
To thoose outside the English game, this name will be of little significance. Ray was assistant to Kenny Dalgish in Blackburn Rover's 94/95 Premier League Winning season. He took over as gaffer in 96/97, before resigning in early 99. He was appointed coach at Millwall in 2000, and a couple of months later he was diagnosed with cancer.

This morining he passed on after bravely fighting a losing battle for the last two years.

Ray Ewood will never forget you - rest in peace.

TOON ARMY

Starting XI
This is very bad news, he played for Lincoln City for 5 years, he was one of the best defenders in the history of the club.

Ray is one the main men behind Alan Shearer's becoming a pro.

I think anyone close to English footie and Blackburn Rovers especially will feel hurt by this news.

Respect to a good man
