Özil is awesome but only 3 month per season + unprofessional behaviour. And we are talking about Isco, a special one, Mesut is not even close to him.

I like Ozil and Isco, but based on the way Isco is currently playing and they way Ozil plays, I would pick Isco over him any day of the week.

Happy that the Bale signing is done, but still crazy the price we paid form him.

They got the money they paid for Ronaldo in one month with shirt sales in Asia. I don't think the price paid for Bale is going to be a problem.

Ozil has been the only true star except Ronaldo in Real's squad in these last 3 years. I'm glad he went away because if you don't appreciate such a great player, you sure as hell don't deserve him. (Yes, I am a BIG Ozil fan)

He's home, he's where he always needed to be! :)

To be brutally honest, I'm not expecting too much from Milan, because we're not a club as big as before, we're certainly a long way from being favourites in big CL games.

I am saying this because in this Milan Kaka' is a step up even though he's not the Kaka' that tore Man United to pieces.
I mean a guy who gave nicknamed HIMSELF the Prince was our trequartista up till now :)

Now for the more romantic side, Kaka' for me is a Legend, and he definitely deserves more than being on the bench. It really doesn't matter if he plays badly cause Milan won't win the CL any time soon, and if he comes back and plays great football it will be so beautifull to see. :)

BTW, I really need to change my sig :) I haven't been here in a while :)

Oh and tits.
I have a question for you, Deni. Why the hell is Bonera on the verge of becoming a Milan legend? I have never even noticed him play in a Milan shirt but he seems to be there...like...forever!

Isco is an upgrade over Ozil. Maybe not now, but in a couple of years he will be better than him. Ozil was good against Barca and crappy teams, but he seemed to disappear when other teams played physical.

It's the same mistake you did with Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, Ronaldo and Sheva again.

I think that should stay a mystery :) I just remember him being unreliable, maybe he's a legend cause he lasted this long :)

I'm happy for him as well, he should have never left. That way he could have become a legend like Maldini.

In an ideal world my friend, yes I wanted that too.

You are right, I said the same thing, but my stance is different, call me a romantic.

I have made peace with the tought that Milan is a less ambitious club now, and if they are less ambitious, then the first person that deserves to get a second chance is Kaka'. Milan is not sacrificing their hopes of winning silverware by buying him. We have made our squad significantly weaker than what we've had in the 90's or the beginning of the 2000's so actually at the level where Milan is now, Kaka is still an upgrade, evethough he would be a downgrade in those era's.

P.s. Sorry to everyone for hogging the Real thread with Milan posts, but it seems rude not to answer. :)

No need to applogize, the discussion does involve an ex-Real Madrid player.

Now seems people were chanting to not sell Ozil during the Bale presentation, only for Perez to put his finger on his lips indicating them to be quiet. Oh why! Oh why! Did Ozil have to leave :(

What an Idiot!!

I agree Maestro, you don't sell a player that everybody loves and come out of it on top.
For me selling Ozil is a sign of weakness, if you cannot afford buying Bale without selling one of your best players, or you cannot keep such a great player happy then you're definitely not so powerfull as Perez try's to portray Real in the media.

For me it would be much more logical to sell Di Maria (as Bale is definitely an upgrade over him, while Isco is nowhere near the same type of player as Ozil) , not overpay for Bale and keep hold of the best CAM in the world (Ribery is a creative winger, and Iniesta plays deeper) , and the most loveable guy in your team. And play Ronaldo-Ozil-Bale with Isco filling in for all of them, Isco would play more than enough covering 3 positions, plus he's more direct, he can play on the wing easily.

P.s.
Bale is a great guy, and a great player but he's been SERIOUSLY overpriced, I'd put him around what Ozil is worth, even slightly lower IMHO - Goals and speed are just part of the game, creativity for me is more rare. + Ozil doesn't get injured almost at all compared to Bale.

The way Madrid is playing, letting Özil go is not a drama. He's a wizard but dont forget he also smokes, drinks, hang out with "bad womens", and you only can count on him 3 month per season.

Letting is Ozil go is not DRAMA, but I think a bad decision. Ozil was world class, second only to Ronaldo on the team. Now Madrid run the risk of a long season with only Isco as this type of player, if he gets injured/drops form we will see the void Ozil left

They have none like Özil in squad nor need it, Ancelotti is playing 4-3-3 and Bale and Di Maria fits better on this system.
