For you to come here and categorize somebody as an idiot for having a different opinion (and we all do you are in a Real Madrid thread remember?) that makes you an idiot. The fact of the matter is that while Barca did play the best football in Europe for those years, you no longer do. The fact is that we won La Liga last year because we wanted it more. Luck has to be sough after, luck doesnt just arrive, good teams create their own luck, resillient teams find way to win. I would dare you to go up to any of those players that played in our squad last year after the break and tell them they didnt earn their championship...they earned it alright; they did what they had to do to win, and get the results, Barca didnt, that is your fault (Barca the teams and players) not ours.

There is an old sports adage that says: "Good teams find ways to win; bad teams find ways to lose" and that cannot be more true of us. Have we been fortunate? absolutely, but have we generated our own "luck" in many occasions? we sure have; You barca types only know how to find ways to critizice us and how we play, yet you are still sitting 7 points behind for your own doing.

If we get knocked out of Copa del Rey I actually wont mind, I think its a distraction to be honest, but whatever, I would let you guys win 20 Copas over us having 10 Champions Leagues, that is the one competition that would dissapoint me to get knocked out of prior to the Semis at least.

As long as our team mentality remains the same, as long as we display the same fight; the same impetus, and desire to WIN; our "luck" will not run out, and we will be in Las Cibeles by the end of the year, Hopefully celebratin un Doblete!

On to the CDR which as you said it not really a big deal... I would not mind it if we were to go out. I just hope that no first team player gets injured, especially Gago because we don't have another DM if he gets hurt to play agianst our rival were if we do manage to get a win I think IMO that we will than have one hand on the trophy.

Arnau youre a funny kid, I liked all those post you made after we handed you guys your behinds in Camp Nou last year....nice posts!

But as far as our "Luck" running out outside of Spain, I digress, For reference, look at all of our Champions league matches, even the one we lost in Bremen we could have at least tied and that was after playing our poorest defensive match....we were in every game all the time....

You know if we win la Liga and Champions I am going to make a big headline in here titled simply

" SUERTE!"

I am dumbfounded that there are some of you here who really think this is alll the result of good luck and not the result of team mentality, attitude, desire, no-quit attitude....So in that same sense we can say then that Germany have been extremely "Lucky" in lifting all three of their world cups.....or better yet, lets look at our last world Champions, the Italians.....lucky right? their never say die attitude had nothing to do with it right?.......

anyway, the only game we have truly been out of this year was against Sevilla both times we played there this year; that stadium has a very negative effect on some of our players and its contagious to the rest..even against Espanyol who clearly outplayed us we had a chance to at least tie....

Oh, forgot about this line! You didn't throw it away, it wasn't even yours to begin with. We almost gave it away by allowing Messi to tie at the pigsty...how about that view? If you were good enough and deserved it, you would have won it. Remember, Barca will always be second historically (fact based on wins, cups, etc.) and that's what hurts. Guys, dont freakin talk about luck. Just dont. Luck doesnt have anything to do with it. We are unbeaten in the Bernabeu for how long?! I mean, luck can go on for some matches, but not freakin 20/30 matches. Last year, we won almost EVERY game after the first 2 games of the new year. That cant be LUCK. Oh and please, dont say you guys threw it away. You guys s*cked last year. So if I'm gonna follow your logic, then we have throw the title away in the past 3/4 years? We had a 11/12 point advantage in freakin February/March and we then lost everything. Thats throwing away a title. Oh and also, returning to last year. Sevilla was also a leader. They worked hard, played for the shirt and most importantly...they NEVER gave up!

So stop talkin about things that already happened. WE already won the league and no one can take it away from us! So when the league is won this year, then it's 'Grande Madrid' and 'Crisis in Barca'! (or vice versa, because thats how it goes in Spain)

Finally, one last thing.

In the past three years, whenever Ronaldinho, Eto'o and Messi have started together, whe have won 87% of our matches. That's a pretty big percentage. This year, REM have only played 1 measly game together because of your injuries. Imagine if Ruud Raul and Robinho had only started 1 game together all year. I'm pretty sure you guys would be more than just 7pts behind at the halfway stage, so all things considered, we're doing well. Now if we could just keep our players fit, we could start mounting a title challenge. It's not all over, but if we win all of our remaining matches and only draw maximum 2 of them, I'm confident we can still win the league.

if we are only talking about 2008 then yeh we have been lucky and yes u have played better football, but i guess u r so short sited and stupid u forget when we beat u 1-0 at the camp nou with a fabolous goal, but then ull just say it was because messi wasnt playing (even though most barca fans said we dont need him well beat without him). 5-1 away at valencia that was "luck". 5-0 against villaral that was luck eh. yeh theire have been games since the BEGENING of the season when havnt played that well and still won but thats what big teams do, they get results. we know we arnt goign to play the best football every game, and seeing how new and young the actuall squad is iam quite happy with were we are now we are a team still adapting and yet, we are still 7 points clear of you, even though u have players like deco, puyol, marquez, etc etc who have been together for the last 4 to 5 years.

oh and i think if we lose van nistelrooy, raul and robinho well still win because we have a squad of 25 and not just 12 13,they are great players and any team would miss them if they lose them but we still have the strenght and depth to win games without them. we have robben, higuain saviola baptista etc etc.

When all is said and done, we are the defending champs, we stomped you this year, we won and drew against you last year, we have 9 cl trophies, we have 30 liga trophies and we are 7 points ahead this year.
