im looking forward to this game, hopefully the hatred of the bilbao fans will bring out the best in us. and we play like we did against villareal on day 1. line-up looks good. guti has been great this season but he slows down so much after 60 mins. its like playing with 10 men. but for the 60 mins he does keep up, one of his passes can fool 4 defenders.

alright, sorry that lineup was incorrect it was baptista, diarrah, sneijder, and robihno....but anyway HT score is tied 0-0 I actually think we have been playing pretty well...we are lacking the goal and the final pass, that is what Guti is good for....but its been an even game....Bilbao, really really hates us you can tell, but its been fun I am confident if we keep playing like we have been we can sneak a goal in a walk away from here alive
YES!!! Great escape, should have been 2-0 at least but its ok, causes for concern......Rudd pulled out late in the game with what looks like a harmstring pull not good...Diarrah also looked to have picked up a hard hit at the end...Cannavaro and Pepe were very solid, I was specially happy with Cannavaro....Casillas was San Iker again, and again....I am happy with the fight we showed, and happy with the way we played, it was always going to be a hard game and we overcame...so HALA Madrid...and on to Lazio
Yesterdays game was intense! I really enjoyed it. Not because of good football, but the atmosphere, the concentration and the effort of the team! It was superb to see! Baptista is such a fantastic personality! Had a great game yesterday! Torres again looked like the Torres of Capello's year! Ramos was great again, after 2 not so good games. Pepe-Canna were solid, although sometimes Canna makes some mistakes. Sneijder was superb yesterday! He has found his form again! Robinho like always was a machine! He almost had a goal of the month with his stepover shot! Superb! Diarra was very good in helping the defense (but still lacks the passing of Gago). Ruud and Raul worked very hard, defended with the team and attacked when necessary! They were VERY dangerous! Especially Raul was again superb!
But not everything was good. I still wasnt happy about the passing of some players! Especially Diarra!

Btw guys, I forgot to mention something. We dont need to get any (A)CM next season! We freakin got Esteban Granero! What a HUGE talent that guy posseses! Its not normal! He is having a superb season at Getafe, especially in the Uefa Cup! He has made some goals and creates a lot of chances! De La Red is also having a great season, but Granero really impresses me! I follow Getafe's games when I can and really that kid is fantastic! Next season he should be fighting with Guti for the CM spot! Well, he should be given a REAL chance anyway! (Not Soldados chance)

Good game against Bilbao I thought. Amidst the projectiles, insults, tension and overall ETA supporting Bilbao faithful (club and fans alike), I'd say we had a good one. Nice to See Baptista get the nod and he did it justice. Shame about Robinho's near goal. That would have been spectacular. One player who my eyes were on the whole match was Pepe...only because of the different opinions about him and his performance. He is under the microscope...largely due to the high fee we paid. Well, he was excellent I thought and looks like he's finally settling in fully. Now on to the Lazio game! The first of many finals this year.
Yeah Pepe is really impressing! I'v never (apart from the great R.Carlos) seen a defender as fast as that guy btw.(ok maybe im too enthusiastic
) He is so freakin fast! He might not have the acceleration of a striker, but his full speed is impressive! Finally we have a fast defense with Ramos, Pepe and Marcelo/Torres.
We are btw in the line for Amauri! Palermo striker if im not mistaken! From what Iv heard and seen from him he is impressive! (But dont we have enough strikers?) He is 27 years old btw!

Good game. First half was incredible. We were a machine. Baptista convinced once again why he deserves more minutes...and really, everyone was on top of their game. I hope this attitude accompanies us to Barcelona.
Good win, 2nd half was alittle sloppy but then again, it was over by then, good game by Robihno again, who is starting to become a big game type of player, and IKER!!! best in the world hands down! stopped that penalty....other than that last handball Pepe was good again today and so was Marcelo, althought the goal was a direct result of him being out of position

I though I would never miss someone like Heinze, I felt he was a dirty player when he wasn't on my team but now that he is...damn I see him as the shiznit.
He's one of those players you love to have on your team and hate him otherwise. I hope he comes back soon.
