Thank you....sensible men prevail at the end...Asking Arnau to be sensible, coherent or otherwise is like asking an apple orchard to produce oranges...it just aint gonna happen......ANYWAY!!!

So, how do you guys feel about Ramos so far? As soon as he got back from Barcelona he went to look at the cantera play (could have been a self concious act since its rumored that in the dear John letter to Schuster they argued that he never once watched the lads play)...and also his comments in these last few days, he says he played the scheme that the circumstances allowed and that he was proud of the attitude shown by the team....he also re-instituted two-a-day training sessions....so far so good IMO, but lets not get excited, we must win out the rest of the year to have a shot at this thing and then when January rolls around we should be getting quite a few bodies back not to mention signings

Well, based on his last two games and what you have posted here.. I say that he is moving in the right direction, and at the moment I'm very happy with him as our coach. Now, we can't really expect miracles to happen, so it will all come down to how he does after the next few weeks. I must add, that something about him has me thinking very positive about what can become, which is a feeling I didn't have with Schuster.

Agreed! He does bring a certain positive atmosphere about him....Also just read that Benzema has said (ala Ronaldo) that his dream is to play in R.Madrid...we might be snatching him up in the summer...and boy i wouldnt mind that at all, probably one of the hottest young players at the moment

I like Ramos so far and yea he did way more with the Cantera already than Schuster did in one and a half year. He also stated that Palanca will now train/be part of the first team.

Getting Schuster out has been very good, before with him this year at least we did not have a tactial plan. It was more or less just do whatever the **** you want to. Where as now (as we saw in the Barca game) we had a tactical plan and actually stuck to it. If we were that focused on all of our games, trust me we would have won a lot of games. Anyway, things are moving well and we just need to take as many points as possible now to see what happens in the end. Also Benzema would be great.

yeah he seems very tactically astute, alot more then schuster who never changed the fromation in any game for the whole time he was here, it was always one winger 2 strikers which is fine but in some gmes you hve to dapt your formation to the other tem like for instance the barca game, especially in europe.

yeh benzema would be great, dont where he would fit in though, and we would hve to probably get rid of one of the strikers in the team to keep the squad balanced.

in other news junde has said that we are going to get a midfielder presumably to replace diarra and a right winger in january. we have been linked to alot of england based players latley especially by the english press.

Saviola is gone u can put money on that..raul is getting close to the twighlight of his career and Rudd is no longer an every game guy the injury he suffered is career threatening...so benzema would fit in nicely...and u figure that if juande sticks around he will play the right tactics as opposed to his ideology...also brnzema can play as an AM....anyway I need to be worried about Valencia on Saturday not benzema

Let's keep it clean in here, guys... no more "puta-talk". I'm sure you guys would rather take part than watch from the sidelines, if you get my meaning.

I think people should get what they are asking for. Perhaps sending Arnau a pm would be appropriate mate. If that little kvnt comes around here asking for trouble, he's gonna get it. I dont back down from anyone. With all due respect.

sorry to interfer on this transfer talk guys , but i have a suggestion.... if you guys wanna go for a forward, not on january, but on the next season , it should be Amauri; believe me when i say this he is gonna be big, and he could be the long term replacement for ruud, hes already showing with juve his great skills and finishing precision,... the goalscoring instincs are starting to show, but still cant compare to ruud, yet, then again not many have those intincs ruud have... believe me that guy would fit like a glove the way madrid plays..... and if you guys want an allrounder midfielder, take a look at betis and emana, that guy is really impresive.

btw... dont go near benzema , that guy would end up beeing another anelka case on your hands, he is so overated.

I don't think Amauri will leave so soon after joining.. also if he decides to play for italy over brazil i dont see him moving to spain to play

You're not kidding.. He really man-handled the Milan defence yesterday. The only problem I see is that Juve are probably thinking about a future with him, which would only mean that if Real asked for him, they would want a big amount. Although, he would probably be worth every cent.

What about lazios zarate, isnt he only on loan from some asian club?

Yea he is owned by some team in Qatar or Dubai or some Arab country that has his contract...they signed him for 20 million euros :O Sooo I'm not sure how much he would cost ( I mean I would think they would want to recover what they paid for him at least ) and IMO I would perfer Benzema it seems like he could be the #9 Ruud like player when he plays with Higuain or even he could play with the Hunter. Basically IMO Benzema could be a target man or even a Higuain like SS which is very nice. I also like Benzema very much, have to disagree with you here bigal:p. So basically next year we would have Hunter and Benzema as #9 and maybe Ruud if he is still around ( I really think he could be on his way back to Holland if he recovers from his knee injury, I just don't think he will have it anymore ) and Higuain and Raul as the SS. IMO that is perfect. I would not mind keeping Ruud BTW, even with Benzema. I see no problem with 5 forwards, hell we should know about that with all the injuries that we have had this season.

About Amauri, I don't think he would be for sale TBH or if he would want to move after just joining Juve this past summer for I think 20 million euros? Correct me if I'm wrong.

15 mil i think, and i dont think zarate would enjoy going back to asia to play, it would be a big step backwards in his career, but wow, thats a huge fee for a club in that region

I like Benzema. He reminds me of a young Ronaldo (thee Ronaldo). Strong with great acceleration. I think we need someone like that. He's young and can only get better. I say, Benzema. Others in the rumour mill include Pompey's Lassana Diarra (to fill in for Mahamadou), and Podolski. I rate Podolski highly but prefer Benzema. Lets see what happens.

About Benzema being another anelka, I hope not. Although I hold a little soft spot for anelka being that his header goal years ago led us to the CL crown. And its good to see him settled and doing extremely well at Chelsea. amauri is doing well but I cant see Juve letting him go or him wanting to move.

Juve bought him for about 22 million. Nocerino went to Palermo for about 7 mil, so most reports saw it as a money (15m) + player switch. There's no way Juve is going to let him go. He's been the biggest and most succesful investment by Juve's new management, and he will be a major part of Juve's future, especially with the return in the Champions League.

Have to say though, Amauri developed in a gem very carefully. Juve is very fortunate to have him now.

I've read Lyon's president didn't want Benzema to leave and would only negotiate him for €100 M.

Surely he is a talented player, still young and all but that's a ridiculous amount, you should go for Kun Aguero if you're spending anything near those numbers.. :smilex:

Aguero would be good. hell add much needed speed upfront. question is whether or not he wants to come
