It's not complex. You can register one player for the CL who played the UEFA Cup. You have two of those, therefore you have to choose. If by any chance you play both of them against Liverpool, it means you've been given a late Christmas present by Platini. It's very simple and there can be no confusion.

UEFA is suck a **** organization, they even nominate Buffon every year for the keeper of the year nad he almost wins every year, and what is with Casillas he is 10000x times better, and he is the captain of Spanish football team, won EM, was the best spanish keeper in 2008.... He deserves it this year, and he would have deserved at minimum the 2nd place at the Europeans palyer of the year championship! Yeah I kno mister Ronaldo won everything, ok but he sucked at EM, and I think the 2nd place would be for Casillas not for Torres.....

You basiaclly could not register Messi as he would be the 4th non eu players on the team but after the deadline when he got it he was allowed to just walk into the team without waiting to be registered for the next deadline. As Vedran likes to point out that the rules state as it is in text and can't be changed, right?
Anyway if UEFA makes a special rule for Liverpool to get in to the CL than I don't see why they should not at least hear the appeal, although we don't really have grounds to argue things could change as it did for Liverpool.

truth be said, rules are rules, but i for one dont really mine, maybe even dont care or just maybe isnt that big of deal, if for some reason platini gives a late Xmas present to real, cause lets face it, they dont really have any arguments to overthrown this.... but i mean to be honest its so gay for others to protest about something thats doesnt affect any other in any way....

Well said about our two clowns in charge Big Al... We do deserve better than those two.....they are bringing a lot of disprestige to the club....Like Orgullo said, if we could have Fiorentino's business savy and Valdano's or even DiStefano's Athletic instinct for picking out players I would be happy...Look at us now we settle for not just Young players but young players who are average at best...I dont know about Lass, he might turn out to be the next Makelele indeed, I just dont know...but now we want this Valencia dude...I mean again he might turn out to be the next greatest winger ever, but really i doubt it..the pressure of playing in Madrid is not for everybody, besides if we go out and sign a mediocre winger (like Drenthe) what is so wrong with Palanca...he has been doing a fine job in two games so far....
