I think Getafe were the better team for most of the match.nor-rbk;2654920 said:Haha, great finish of the game. Devastating for Getafe, but Real deserved the win. But those last minutes, just incredible.
Pepe should be out for a while now, at least 3 matches in my opinion. So foolish.

I'm sure the fans and media will play up how much "heart" and "fight" Madrid have, but where was it in the first 80 minutes?

Casquero choking doesn't mean Madrid deserved to win.R.9;2654934 said:Getafe could have finish the match with the penalty kick but took the risk to score a fancy one insteed of just blasting a good one. Casillas made the save and you know the rest...
I disagree. It certainly felt that way during the last 15 minutes, but even then Getafe scored a goal, had a PK, and had a chance at goal (Soldado's header).nor-rbk;2654935 said:Getafe was the better team in the first half, I agree with that. But the second half was almost a one-way show. Getafe fought well, but I still think Real deserved it. Bear in mind that I'm partly Real fan, so I might not be all neutral here, but I'm trying to.
Or a team like Barcelona shows their might by completely avoiding adverse conditions and taking care of business in the first 80 minutes.Dipanjan;2654939 said:Well A team only shows their might when faced with adverse conditions. The first 80 mins. are not adverse enough, that is why Real Madrid playing their guts off in the last 10 mins. is much more credible and deserving.......
Okay, I'm giving in. When I'm thinking more over it Getafe may have deserved a point, but I certainly didn't mind the outcome though.Sevillista;2654941 said:I disagree. HahaSevillista;2654941 said:Even that pompous announcer on GolTV said Getafe were the better team (around the 75 minute mark) and he loves Madrid. I did love his quote when Higuain scored, "Casquero, tell me how you feel!"
Nah, Sevilla have been my team my whole life and will always be. When it comes to the Madrid-Barcelona rivalry (which gets about 95% of the attention in La Liga) and Champions League, I support and enjoy watching Barcelona. And I have the utmost respect for what they are doing this season.Dipanjan;2654949 said:Well dude different teams have different game plans. Barca play differently and Real play differently, and both are getting results i.e winning matches, with the comprehensiveness differing.
And when are you officialy changing your loyalty to Barca? I can sense that happening sooner than later.
The fun is in watching them make a first division team, or in some cases prestigious teams like Lyon and Bayern, look like amateurs.Dipanjan;2654960 said:Well Buti, I dunno what I will do but I will take a thriller any day. Watching a Barca game has no thrills for me. they come to the field, brush aside their opponent and go home. Where is the fun?
Hey sevilllista, I was picking on you dere mate. Hope you don't mind.
Cheers!
