Well, considering that his shirt is sold out in Madrid, already then I think its not such a bad idea at all...

My prediction is that his first two season in Spain will be stellar, (save for injuries) and then if he lacks a strong coach this team much like the first Galacticos could fall apart...

Its all well and good to sign stars now, but in the coming year the policy has to be, to fill needs and make the overall squad as strong as possible, not to sign stars cause they sell shirts

I disagree. You think Ronaldo is the better player, that's fair enough.

But when you say Messi is a "brinca na areia" you can't possibly be talking about him? Messi is efficient, he doesn't do unnecessary step overs or dribbles that so many times lead to no where..

I didn't say he isn't efficient, he's a wonderful player, but the things he does the best is dribbles and has some great goals, beside that, what he can do that compares to Ronaldo's skills? To me Messi deserves this year more than Ronaldo, but in terms of "Football Player Package" Ronaldo has everything. I dont like his personality like i said before..

Messi's dribbling is different from that of Ronaldo.

Messi just runs with ball. But that run is very fast and at the same time is perfect control of ball and perfect body moves.

While Ronaldo's one is more like Ronaldinho's style.

In dribbling, Messi's better in my opinion.

maradona only use the left leg and he is ,more than probably, the best football player ever. Messi use to decide the big matches, score in all finals and almost all clássicos he play, is much more decisive and unpredictable than ronaldo.

I think its pretty even between the two of them, but for me, messi is more decisive in matches... if you are looking at complete football package than iniesta or gerrard would take the cake
