I havent seen him much, only during the Euro's a little bit and I wasnt too impressed, althought I did remember him scoring a goal or so...I wouldnt mind him, not a Galactico, but a good player so that wouldnt make me mad...

I would rather sign Etoo than sign Forlan (yes, I meant that on purpose, no I dont really want to nor think there is a chance in hell we would sign Etoo) , I have no taste for him at all...Call me crazy I know he's the pichichi, and all, but come on, hes 29...we dont need another Raul holding up the line...I think Florentino has to give Valencia what it wants and get Villa before someone like Man U gets him...after that concentrate on good solid guys like Moutiho..or maybe even a Glichy, if we could get him tho that will be a tough proposition

With the shirt sales and T.V revenue alone, Madrid will make up the money. Add to that, that a great majority of football fans will want to see how Ronaldo and Kaka play together whether they like madrid or not.

Spain’s fourth largest financial institution, Caja Madrid, has just granted Los Blancos a massive €76.6 million loan.

The bank’s Council of Administration yesterday analysed the agreement after members of the organisation and the Loans Commission gave their approval for the investment.

According to the Madrid-based newspaper, the loan will be guaranteed on the back of the €600 million revenue the club will receive from Mediapro, the company which currently owns the their television and broadcast rights.

We are also still in intersted in Ribery and suppoesdly already got a pre-agreement signed with Lyon to get first option on Benzema for next season.

Barca never really had any money to spend even after getting rid of Ronaldinho mainly because they exhausted all their money trying to pry Henry from Arsenal. They will also more than likely have to extend Messi's contract if he gets the Ballon d'Or and FIFA World Player of the Year honors. The only way they get David Villa is if they offload Eto'o and Gudjohnsen.

excluding this look at our transfer budegt in last 4-5 years, and look at Madrid transfer budget, then compare the performances. That's a biig big difference between the staffs who work for the transfers and administrating problems....so shut up! But the location in your description says it all, really describes you...

Henry only cost €24 million, they got him quite cheap. They actually have always had the money but do not like the risks it could involve (remember Overmars?) and usually tend to put more faith in their youth products than Real do. Don't forget Valdano said something about Barça outbidding Madrid's initial bid (before Madrid acquired the loan).

But than Valencia came out and said that the bid of Barca was not true so....

Dytza - Well maybe it's cause of your debt? Sure you won a treble but year after year we make more money regardless of the trophy. Honestly I am not sure of your clubs finanical position, it's just something I read recently.
