That Raul thing isn't anything new, it dates back to the first Galactico era, and even Guti is in the same group. There is a reason lots of Madrid fans applauded Pellegrini when he stop putting Raul on the starting lineup despite what most of the media would say. And even then, you would here more debates about how he should be starting rather than sitting down and letting the new players play, on the radio. They treat him as if he himself was Madrid, and I don't blame them, since he as done for the club.. But like all stars, he reached his peak years ago and should have known when to step aside... too bad He still doesn't realize it, along with those above him, Marca and AS included.

1 thing I don't get. Madrid are known for ditching players when they under-perform or are average players regardless of their age. How come Guti and Raul are still in the team? I mean instead of ditching young promising players, why don't they ditch these 2 useless players? After Del Bosque, 9 managers came to Madrid and these 2 are still here.

And the stupidest thing Madrid did was fire Del Bosque. Thats ridiculous. This man created history and you fire hiim for no apparent reason. Del Bosque was the only one who could deal with the "galacticos".

The reason is clear and already explained, he think himself so Florentino fire him. When Camacho notice how it works with that dude in real madrid resigned in the week 3.

Higuian is a class player and worth every cent, and much more.. And those that are already talking about how he's not good enough (and I know there are lots of madrid fans in there) can just go F**K themselves. I guarantee you these are the same morons that would still have Raul in the starting lineup if they had a say on it.

That's the impression we get over here, but I've known all along about how raul runs the dressing, read a article about luiz like 5 years ago and he called him a twat. With the limited real madrid matchplay we see over here, particularly the champions league games, he always looks like he is trying hard, and appears to be useful, but when you see la liga etc he couldn't care less.

I'm not surpised he wasn't booked for that childish scene with cris at the end of the lyon match.

He has to go at the end of this season, or take a pay and ego cut.:coffe-anim:

Ending talented players careers is another especial ability of Real management.

It sure is, I could think atleast 15 players off the top of my head whose career has either been destroyed or stunted growth.

I seriously believe Higuain is your best/most important player. Not Ronaldo, not Kaka, not Benzema - Higuain. Okay, maybe he's not as skilled as Ronaldo, but he's a hell of a goalscorer, and he has the mental ability to win the close matches.

Maybe he meant foreigners who aren't stars.

I thought that, but then Cicinho mentioned Kaka, who surely has to be considered a star.

Foreigners who can take the place of his mates, for example Anelka/Morientes. Cicinho/Salgado. And isn't new in madrid, Luis enrique left madrid and join barça because was tired of the corporatism group of Hierro & C.o.

Makes more sense.

Higuain looks quality from what I've seen of him, pretty clever purchase from Real I have to say. According to wiki (not the most reliable source I admit) he has 16 goals in 19 games in La Liga, very impressive.

I think the stats kp posted tell the story really, you don't get anywhere by constantly swapping managers (unless the manager is completely hopeless).

and to add to that statement, You also cannot get anywhere when two players have such big influence on the board room, with the media and small minded fans backing them up...

The guy scored another hat trick and is still under fire, screw Marca. Do they really support Real, "Better to have a wise enemy than a foolish friend".

They support Raul and Guti..

I wish I could get these three goals by Higuian and just show it to every madrid "fan" that doesn't like him... Then tell to go F**K themselves. However; If he were to do it, it would be even better.

marca will probably have CR9 on the cover with another "bota de oro" and mention higuain in the small print on the corner of the page. Did he pass villa today in the pichichi list?

BTW what do you think is gonna happen with Benzema? Seems Pellegrini has totally given up on him

well, I personally don't expect Pellegrini to be retained for next season, so I don't think Coco Benzema will worry about it too much ...

regardless, Benzema is young, and he has shown his talent on the top stage; he will be given time to adjust to a bigger team, full of bigger stars, in a bigger league ...

He had been playing well right before he got injured. I still believe he is in Pellegrinis plan, once he comes back I would expect him to be back on the starting line up.

In detriment of whom?...who are you gonna sit to bring Benz in?...Certainly not Pipa or CR9 and we know the whole deal with Kaka, (who should actually be benching in detriment of VdV who has had a great season)

Anyway I am sooooo glad El Pipa shut the Mvtherfing vermins up! and by that I mean MARCA and all their cronnies....He should have worn a shirt underneath that said "FVCK YOU INDA" and show it after every goal...LOL...I love that guy man he's a fighter

Kaka didn't play last night. Pellegrini dropped him or he was injured, or suspended?

Edit: btw, do you guys think that Higuain plays like the young Bobo Vieri?

Yeah Makelele was a huge mistake.....Higuain could be the next Florentinazo...firing Pellegrini will be the next dumb move that fvcker makes...

btw Kaka was supposedly injured, although I am thinking it was like Guti's injury after the Alcorcon game...Kaka made bad gestures when he got subbed against Lyon...sooo that could be why

Now that Navas rumours end with Sevilla defeat in bernabeu, we have another one, kun Agüero... and oh! "el derby mesetero" is coming soon, what a coincidence! (H).

Could someone kindly please translate that excerpt about de la red? My spanish isn't that good.

I hope Perez doesn't fire Pellegrini, we need some consistency in the dugout, and the team can only improve the more they play together?
