So Albiol is being presented today.

The papers say we want to sign Xabi Alonso:33vff3o: Arbeloa which I do not understand and Silva as well....which again I don't understand. They are also saying that Ruud and Hunter (who has 3 offers on the table) will be sold so our strikeforce is how I predicted it will be. Really all we need is a CM, LB, and maybe another leftback for cover although Marcelo could be that cover. We need to start selling some players.

I think what a lot of people are missing is Perez's reasoning behind it. The first time he came to Madrid they were in debt. He sorted it and left them well in profit. Now, again, he arrives and they are in debt.

It might seem strange to increase the debt, but it still isn't even anywhere near Man Utd levels and Madrid have a bigger turnover than Utd to service any debt. Perez will make millions from these players off the pitch. It doesn't need to be a success on the pitch to make sense off it. But even so, how can having Ronaldo, Kaka and Benzema make your team less likely to win?

According to Cadena SER Llorente now wants to sell Villa to us:clapwap:It seems their coach Emery would perfer Negredo over an unhappy Villa and apparently Llorente is also made that Laporta met with Villa's agent. No thanks to Villa, we got Benz now so that's done and dusted with.

^ Buying stars is one thing. Gelling the team together is another thing. There's no guarantee that this team will stick well together.

I wonder what formation will Real play if they get Ribery. Maybe ribery, ronaldo on the wings and Kaka in the centre?

They won't get ribery this summer. This is logical... Even if most of things madrid done this year aren't so logical but they sure won't get ribery...at least this summer...

Although from the recent reports I am hearing it sounds like Valdano and co might want to get Silva to play CM instead of Xabi, not sure about that as Silva be better in the AM position but lets see what happens.

yeah. to buy silva for back-up is a completly madness! Silva is a monster player if he plays where he likes, and for sure CM is not one of his favourite positions. ;)
