I tried to think of a worse Real Madrid in the last decade, and I simply couldn't find one. The one of Mou's last season although finishing at -15 showed some great football here and there that year. The 08-09 one who had nowhere near this quality, managed to stay pretty close to the treble-winning Barcelona until late spring. The 05-06 one may be the closest choice but again the difference in quality is huge.

You're right. Madrid are similar to Heynckes' Bayern style of play. Kroos was excellent in that team.
