(maybe cause they know about the bomb so they decided not to come, radical supporters are usually linked to ETA), i was thinking myself "this cant be true, what a bad luck day i bring my girlfriend to Bernabeu and we must leave in this awful way!"

thats the most ignorant thing I've heard in a while. :kader:

The Czech Stadium (Strahov) is bascially a 2 stadium complex. The large one isn't used much anymore. It used to host gymnastics and concerts, etc. U2 played there in the mid 1990's. Not sure if they still use it for anything anymore though.

IN the picture above, you can see another stadium that is still used for football games. No team 'officially' plays there, but teams that, for example, are upgrading their stadium, or teams that need to meet certain standards (like UEFA games) play there. The Czech league cup is played there (not sure if it still is).

I've been to the area and the main (large) stadium is HUGE! Takes forever to walk across. I think like 3 official sized football pitches can fit on the field!

sad, sad turning of events....just glad no one was injured as they exited the stadium....i hope something like this doesnt happen when i study abroad next year in Spain...I still play to go to every game(if i dont run out of money)...even some of the away games since i probably study just outside of Madrid
btw....anybody know some good universties in Spain, i'm kind of looking for something similar to SDSU=great parties, alot of hot girls, & a decent business programn????....I'd appreciate some suggestions(Y)

So nothing was found. Wow. Thank goodness. I've always thought that terrorists and such could cause the most harm by hitting stadiums full of people. Luckily nothing of that sort has happened to a great degree.

BTW whats the ETA?

It was nice to see Santiago Bernabeu blow up. The world wouldhave got rid of a nasty team, Real Madrid, with its stadium and office :D

Hey I heard there were small explosions near the stadium and some people got hurt???
nothing exploded, no one got hurt.

this is how it usually works.. the put an explosive.. they call the newspaper Gara to say there is a bomb set to go off at this time.. Gara calls the cops.. cops evacuate the people. And then a bomb goes off.. and sometimes they find it and deactivate and sometimes there is no bomb.

Crusader.. if you're basque as well.. then you should know better than that. Just because certain people are nacionalistic, it doesnt mean they are in favor of violence.
