It was a great game .The Ronaldo goal should have not been but we will take the goal. I really like the new Real Madrid style of playing.Gravesen was good too.

My views on the issues.....

1. Figo did not deserve a red card. It was a 50/50 challenge. End of story.

2. Raul goal was spectacular. I hope Luxe pushes him to reach his best again.

3. Helguera got unluck with the bounce and I think Samuel has become to nervous with the way La Liga strikers fall so easily(just a guess).

4. Figo was offside for the second goal, but I say f*ck it, if Man U and Valencia can get away with crap, then why not us. Tough luck.

5. Salgado should have been called for a penalty, but then again I also saw Raul shoved down in the area with no call. Tough luck for both teams.

6. Owen's goal was also beautiful. The precision and curve were great.

7. Gravesen impressed me in the 25 minutes he played. He has a really strong mentality. He tackles very well and passes very well. I hope he starts the next match, because I felt so much more comfortable with him in the team.

I the offsides goal looked like at first like the tackle that solari made ended up to Figo. Thus it wasnt a pass, the player just lost the ball and it ended up on Figo's foot. thats what I thought happened the first time. Its amazing that Zidane got the quick foot in like that ....

but this is football sooner or later Madrid will get robbed by a ref.

Actually we were already robbed, in the match against Deportivo (penalty from Andrade to Raul not given) and against Sevilla (a legal goal annulled for an non-existent offside)

is not a 50/50 challenge if the defender already got to the ball..

even marca said that Figo deserved the red and that Madrid won thanks to the ref.
