Real Simple Question for Yall

I haven't posted here for ages, been busy with school. But I hope all of you are doing great.

Now, I am on a three week break from school and want to get back into WE/PES. I just need to know, which is the latest title out for PC, which is the latest one out for PS2?

And which is better, because I am only gonna get one? Thanks guys, your response can be one sentence, I just need to get the names of the games because I am itching to play!

PES 4 is the latest game - it's available for PS2, XBox and PC.

I haven't played any KONAMI game on a PS2 but from what I've heard, WE 8 Asia Championship J.League is the best game of all, and it's available for the PS2 only!

have heard that ps2 version is better than the pc version.. and so many people have agreed... but it's not my personal opinion... but if you don't care playing on keyboard or gamepad, I'd advise you to go for the ps2 version.. this game is made for ps2, pc version is converted from ps2... so this means less bugs..

So the consensus is that the PS2 PES4 is better, by a little, than the PC version?

Thing is, I bet editing rosters and the such on PC is so much easier. Does online play really make the PC version stand out, or is it just a crappy addition? Oh, and is it online servers or can you only link up with someone specific like a friend?

Pc version is better than PS2 version. Both me and my brother sold our playstations because of this game! Also, of course, you can play it online with the PC. Get a PS2 joypad adaptor (£6.99) so you can play it how it is meant to be played.

(but of course if your pc is not up for the job then stick with the PS2 version)

I think if you have a monster PC (P4 > 2 Ghz, athlon XP 64, 512 ram of memory, Geforce FX or ATI with 128 MB of memory... and a 19" monitor) you should go with PC version because you can enjoy amazing graphic, no slow down and get the patches. but if you have 32" HDTV a some friends who also love WE, go fo PS2, the multitap will blow you guys away

You have 2 WE8 versions for PS2 : The original WE8 (Japan "everything is in Japanese it only supports Japanese language - it`s a very good game alot better than Winning Eleven 7 International Japan. Then you have Winning Eleven 8 J League that came out not long ago and it`s believed that it`s the best WE game to date. J League stands for Japanese League so it`s mostly their type of football however, you do have something like 20 European club teams that can be unlocked. You can order WE8 or WE8JL from www.play-asia.com . Best site for the best football games!.

OR, you can WAIT (which I recommend) and get the newest WE8 which should be released in Mid/Late February or Early/Mid/Late March..

This version will support 6 languages (English included) and the game will be called Winning Eleven 8 Live Ware Evolution (this game could also be called International J or Final Evolution (FE).

If you didn`t know more and more leagues are being officialy licensed in titles like WE7IJ/WE8/PES4. You have Italian/Spanish/Holland leagues licensed and from what we know so far (rumors) WE8LWE (or International J, FE) will have EPL/BUNDESLIGA licensed and other improvements. Also this newest WE game will have an online play unfortunately only for people who reside in Japan.
