Anyone who can recommend any good documentaries for me? Anything really, just not about music, I got what I want there.

E.g. I really liked michael moors documentaries. Anything similare, or something completely different. Don't care really. I just enjoy a good documentary.

Grizzly Man...and the best part is that the annoying prick it's about gets eaten at the end (Y) No, but seriously:

The Corporation

Shake Hands with the Devil: The Journey of Roméo Dallaire

Capturing the Friedmans

these are all very good...

to be honest it's a pity some television documentaries arent bundled together by the BBC (or whoever) and put on general DVD release.

There's a new one about Factory Records that's out, apparently. Shadowplayers.

The History of Football. 7 discs.

Yup. The Boy Who's Skin Fell Off would make an excellent Mothers Day gift... or ... something.

Superman
Murderball is awesome. Dogtown & Z-Boys. Rize. First Descent.

and about Grizzly Man, I hated it. it was more of a comedy than a documentary. I couldnt stop laughing at everything. it sounds horrible cause the guy died, but he was such an idiot trying to touch those huge bears. and lets not even talk about the way he talked. he looked like that guy that posted his pics online dressed as peter pan :|

yeah, Grizzly Man was a complete joke. I never took it seriously and I can't understand why so many rate it so highly.

was that the dude who got killed seconds after taking those photos? (the ones where you see the bears coming towards him)

no no, there was a guy (i saw on the news about 5 years ago) who took photos of bears, and he died. And when the found his body, the found photos he had taken SECONDS before his death, of these bears getting closer and closer.

It was proper creepy. Is that the dude which this is based on?
