Red Card for the Goalie??

i recently played a match which involved the CPU goalie recieving a red card and giving away a penalty as a result of this.

although i had a penalty kick, to my disappointment, the GK didnt go off the pitch and the match facts didnt show it having a red card!!!!!!!!!!

Has any one had this happen to them????

Any fixes??

Anyway EA really needs to work on stuff, i was rangers and the keeper just spilled Barry Ferguson, and hurt him, no card.

But that's a weird bug, shoulda been sent off. Maybe EA doesn't know if you keeper gets sent off your can bring on a keeper for an infield player :p

anyone no of a fix for this??

its nice to see the goalies can be carded and sent off, but once again EA have dun a ****e job!!! hope a patch is available to sort this ?? :confused:

that's a cool ss.. it looks like nistelrooy is doin' some kinda one-handed balancing act on the keeper's head. :)


what kinda vid card do u have?

the problem is that ea stuffed up again, with the subs you cant make the sub till the next break in play so they cant give the pen then let you have no keeper to save it its the same with injuries if you do goto the team management screen and make the sub before the ref stops play you have to wait again for another stop in play its just a complete lack of foresight on ea's behalf

Allright Lads!

I had the exact same thing happen on the PS2, the opposing keeper was already on a yeallow and i had a cahnce 1 on 1 with the keeper he slid out and got red carded....... it had a fmv footage of the keep giving out etc, but when i went to take the penno the keeper was still on the pitch!!!!!!!!!! I paused the game and checked match facts and the red card had dissapeared from the stats!!! Bull****!!!

Oh i checked the PS2 disc on the PC and i see that Wembley and the new proposed German stadium ALLIANS is on there.....any ideas if ya can get them or are they just red-herrings??

Nah, it looks more like some out-of-shape dad refereeing a youth game, and getting in the way of the ball, as they always do.

same thing has happened to me...i have it for PS2
