Well he said "you" so he was referring to me. And Riley did admit to being a Manure fan so that does provide an explanation as to why many people said he was helping them.

And no way Arsene is much richer than Jose(he is the highest paid manager in football). Maybe a lil but that's probably through savings and investment. He does hold an Economics degree.

Thats right ....no body can be held responsible for the actions of a retarded idiot......Jose aint done anything that your manager or just about any other manager has done in the past....Everyone of them has had a go at the ref after the game......everyone of them has tapped up players........see you always have a selective memory you Gooners........stop being a hypocrite and accept the truth......your lot are no different from everyone else.......I even remember Arsenal bringing a player to Highbury with a false passport.........i got lots of little snippets like that that i could recall................:D

Pedes exactly right. There is no moral high ground among football clubs and fans (except in regards to leeds ;) ) Jose did the same thing that Arsene does, that Sir Alex does, that Allardice does, Souness does, etc, but when something happens, its his fault. No. No its not

edit: BigP, you did get caught damnit! You just never got punished that much :p

It all started from Mourinho. Truly, the guy is a motivator inside Chelsea players. On the field, he's a provocator. I didn't see that happen when he assigned FC Porto before.

Receiving death treat is so scary. :( Chelsea fans need to get it right. :kader:

Check exactly what Chelsea fans said on this thread, please. Nobody here is even close to endorsing death threats. :kader: Mourinho himself was a recipient of one just a year ago before the CL final. Why in god's name would he wish that on another human being?

"Metz President Receives Death Threats

Metz president Carlo Molinari has received death threats following the promotion of his club into the French first division ahead of Nice who were 'relegated' to division three, after gaining promotion at the end of last season
from division two, because they failed to provide financial guarantees to the financial watchdog - DNCG."

You know, many of the people on this thread talk as if this is the first time in football that death threats have happened. Wake up; it's not. Shockingly enough it's been a tactic used by "fans" (these people are not fans of their clubs, even if they'd like to think so in their twisted little minds) in many countries and at many clubs around the world and directed at many different figures in the game. These were just the incidents I could be arsed to list.

I'm sure pretty much every high-profile manager who was in a really bad run of form has recieved a death threat or two. The mistake Frisk made was making it all public. My point is, there are crazy bastards all over the world and very few of them need incitment from a football coach to do something as idiotic as send a referee a death threat.

One thing that many of you also fail to do is separate "ultras" and nutters from actual fans. Fans are moderate people (although they get a bit crazy during games, but try going to a football match and not getting into the game a bit too much ;) ) and no normal Chelsea fan (or fan of any other club, or just any person for that matter) would ever seriously condone a death threat to a fellow human being. Take a step back and look at the situation logically if you can! I know it's difficult with the press bombardment!

One last thing. Frisk retired over these alleged threats, why didn't Guss Hiddink? Why didn't Frank Rijkaard when he was manager of Sparta Rotterdam? Answer from Hiddink... "If I had found I didn't care any more, I was going to quit but there was another motivating force to go on. It was that I mustn't be defeated by those idiots."

I think that job would have gone to Collina anyway.Best ref in Europe at least, and as a thank you from UEFA in his last season.......God forbid Frisk.....the game needs to be decided by whatever the two teams can achieve and not by an incompatant ref who always makes to many blunders in every game he officiates in....Collina can be trusted to be fair...........:D

Are you saying that out of ability? Or its just a hunch? Because between the Chelsea game and the incident in Rome, id think that there are a few more stable choices to do that. As pede says, Collina is clearly the most respected and, as it stands now, seen as the most fair ref in the world. How could anyone bet against him for such a match?

Collina...and his team...didn't look...too good...in the second leg...either... "the game needs to be decided by whatever the two teams can achieve and not by an incompatant ref"...Barca's pen was a joke...Chelsea's fourth goal shouldn't have counted...:D

Collina is clearly who didn't disallow the goal of Terry when it was foul on Valdes. Reading Chelsea fans complaining against Frisk and at the same time praising Collina is like reading a joke.

I can't believe that you still are complaining against Frisk when you already got the help that you wanted from the refs. Hipocrites.

Yea seriously ( even though i hate Barca ) that 4th goal was a joke how could Collina not see that? Collina isnt the best ref:rolleyes:

Replay the goal. Look where Collina was standing, and look where the foul took place. If Collina can see through human bodies, and at the same time watch the ball come into terry, then he has the vision of god in heaven himself, becuase it wouldve been fvcking impossible. As vince says, you got a pentalty which was wrongly awarded, but i dont hear a single Barca fan bring that up. Why would you? Take away the two wrong decisions, and we would still have won. If chelsea didnt win, id still bitch and moan about that decision, but it wouldnt change my opinion on how the match was reffed.
If you actually put aside the name calling, and looked, youd see that i blame Drogba for getting a cheap yellow, being wreckless, and then getting sent off. Frisk reffed a good match, but i supposed you think, because Chelsea lost, that i was glad to see the man get death threats. Wrong. He wasnt a bad ref, in my view during that one match, and if there was no wrongdoing, then he had a fine match. But despite that some Chelsea ultra saw fit to end his career. But i guess thats nothing like throwing hogs heads at Luis Figo when he's on the pitch, is it? No, because having a chuckle at that while sounding off on something like this, that would be hypocracy

Yeah, everybody jumps to head the ball with the hands up, the ball could have touched the hand of anyone.

Anyway if it is not penalty for you, why the hell are you saying that he's the best in the world? hipocrite.

The work of a ref is to be in the right position too, anyway the linesman can see it. Their work is to see it.

I can agree or disagree in the decision about Drogba, but I'm not saying Frisk is the best ref in the world for that.

As silly me i ment the linesmen. I read somewhere that the linesmen actually put the flag up or something like that but then he put it down after a second?? Can anyone confirm this?? But i did mean the linesmen.

Also i really dont care about the score. I was just saying that he is not the best ref. I have seen plenty of other mathces where he makes mistakes.:)
