regen players

ok i'm in my fourth season with Panathinaikos, I though it was time to start looking for Greek egen players, I looked at some players and their potential is amazing some guys are even better that Zidane, why regens are so good?

what game r u playing, coz i havent seen many good ones. Actualy the good players are extremely few ~10 seasons in the game... If u are just looking at the potential (im guesssing u use cmscout) it sez absolutely nothing, its the overall ability that matters

I'm plying FM 2005, someimes i use FM scout but only when i I find player which I know he is good, because his has good stats then i check his potential for example I have this kid he is only 17 and his stats are really good for his age 10 and up on everything

I'm into 2017 now, and the quality of players are crap. It's really hard to come by a decent player in my game now.

yeah, its exactly what i said. Maybe there are many players with good potential, but most doenst even come close reaching that potential, and even if they do they have big weaknesses, in like crap physical stats or some skils that are extremely and unrealisticaly low for players that are supposed to be "classy". Its just an extremely poor regen effort by SI. Used to be prety good (or at least better) in CM01/02

Exactly, every "amazing" young player there was/is in my game, they ALWAYS have awful physical stats.

so you can actualy find dozens of players that are world class for each position. You mean there are enough good players to form teams to the level real madrid chelsea juventus barca and milan (just random big club names) have in the start of the game. Coz in all my games there aint enough to make 2 full teams like that.

Yeah mate, i'd say so...we do play the same game right? Our experiences seem completely different in most aspects .

In all my previous games, I noticed that the regens generally were crap, mainly because crap physical and mental stats, but in my current game (only in 2010 yet) there are tons of quality regens, with amazing physical stats.

Well at it seems that we agree overall that the quality of players doesnt usualy stay same as good

The regen problem is one that is not fixed just by patching. You'll need to actually start a new game to have the patch effects affect your game. Have you done that at least?

That's strange, I guess they must have only been able to fix that problem partially then. It's a big problem though, as it puts in the time restriction they want to avoid, just moves it back a couple of seasons from the original

"Number of seasons you're able to play without the game losing it's attraction" is a good way to describe it, I guess.

oh, yeah. For sure. That number is prety low for me actualy Hope they fix it in 06

Yep, it's a real piss off at present. 01/02 was much better in the later years. I would much happier if they went back to the old regen system in all honesty. It was fun wondering if you had the next Shevchenko or whoever as well. (unless you used GPF2 )

yeah. Dunno how they managed to ruin the regen system so much They tried to make it more unpredictable but all they did was make regens bad
