definitely love beta 8 bro...scoring a goal is much harder now..the defenders marks and tackles well.the gks r brilliant.playing as man utd against west brom in career mode, i managed to nick a win only in the last 10 mins.it was frustrating but highly enjoyable.the physics look improved too.more skill moves and quick dribbles can be seen now.overall. a highly enjoyable experience till now.dint get to test much..will post more feedback after playing a few more games.

B8 is great.

Man Utd (me) v Barcelona (AI).

Game started well with Barca creating a quick passing move which ended with a mispass from Dani Alves.

After that Barca were knocking on the door - long shots, skills, everything

Game ended 1 - 0 but it was enjoyable.

But, the long shots still need to be increased!

I have a different opinion. I still play with beta 7, but the better teams with players who like to shoot from the distance do this often enough. e.g., yesterday, MANU (and MANC as well) tried 4-5 times to make a distance shot against me (and in the right moment). imo very realistic. weaker teams I dont know at the moment, but of course not that often. maybe the only way is to edit the playervalues for mor shots from ouside the box?

Generally I like beta 7 very well. The AI attacks not always in the same monotonous way. There are a lot of bouncing balls, air-fights, deep balls from the AI etc ... good players make the difference on the pitch.

I noticed that since beta 7, there is an increaesed number where the goalkeeper can not hold the ball and let him bounce to the side ... random or RC?

maybe I should mention that I lowered the agility and speed attributes of all the players, but this should not change RC excellent mode in a big manner.

I tried a different strategy even though B8 is great.

I added 'teams' and 'players' to Fidel's db and now, it's great!

Btw, as you said, AI attacks are varied and long shots do suffice. Sorry for my post earlier!

from what i understand the best combo is B8's db coupled w/ B7's ai file.

which is what i think i will release for everyone.

keep in my i have not edited any players ratings in the players table, everyone is still assigned ea's ratings.
so im not quite sure what adding my 2 main tables to fidel's db would do for you.

Of course I know Fidel's gp mode too. I had used Fidel's mode until RC has made me his mode available. For me at that time it was a huge difference, clearly in favor of RC!

But I think both mods are very good and have their own pos and negs, unfortunately sometimes limited through the game engine. It depends all on the preferences of the human players. Everyone has their own idea of 'real football' on a computer and the floating of the game. But it just seems that the modifications of RC are more suitable to me and my liking and I don't want to deviate from!

bottom line is its not be edited & reuploaded or for the codes to be distributed amongst the world to be changed & uploaded as "yours".

you can edit it for personal use, but it stays that way on "your" hdd for "your" game only.

Here I was thinking that this was commonly established commonsense and common courtesy. The fact it needs to be spelt out like this is a sad indictment on some folk.

yea it is but it must be done & w/ all the gameplay threads out, i had to make sure it was stated.

all correctly named leagues, teams & tournaments plus stadium names table is included & is optional for you to import if you want to.

my computer played FIFA12 very smooth since i've installed the game. But these 2 days it's suddenly lag when i play a match. Furthermore, when i start a match, the screen was blurred. However, when I play a practice match at the arena, it's very smooth and the screen is-at-high-quality .
I've run CCleaner ,scanned for viruses and reinstall the game, but nothing is incresed..

Any good ideas from you?

do you have any unneeded processes running in the bg, msn, etc ?
whats the games priority set to through windows ?
have you edited anything like an lod file ?

there is no unneeded processes running because i use GameBooster when playing game, which is "Game Booster 3 now is able to provide you a pure "gaming environment" that leaves only the gaming window on the desktop; thus you will not be disturbed by other programs during your gaming." . I've used it since i installed the game and it's very useful .
the default priority is normal. i can't change the priority while using GameBooster .
I just edited the overall of players by using CM12 , and nothing else. Furthermore i've reinstalled the game .

I hope you release your DB, hopefully assholes don't ruin it for all of us by reposting your DB.
